I messed up: this gorgeous wedding slipped through my net on the back of the most amazing wedding cake… and so we’re featuring an Australian wedding (first time!) on the English Wedding Blog. Oops! But oh, you’re going to love me for it, I promise!
See what I mean?!
While you may not be able to book the suppliers from Ailsa and Phil’s special day (unless you’re heading to Oz for a destination wedding, you lucky thing!) you will most certainly fall in love with all of the ideas from this stunning cinema wedding.
I think 2016 has been our busiest year yet! The English Wedding Blog is growing every single day: we’ve featured weddings and styled shoots from so many new photographers and our inbox is constantly bursting with amazingness… so I thought I’d write a little note to all of you fabulous wedding photographers who are yet to get published here. I so hope you’ll be in touch soon!
Oh I do, more than anything else in the world, love to be beside the seaside. It’s home for me… and so seaside weddings make my heart sing! This one is all kinds of wonderful… and it’s deliciously different. We’re talking seaside chic, ultra modern and arty backdrops, and so many of those little moments (watch out for the smaller guests – they’re awesome!) which make every wedding unique. LOVE this!!!

Sam and Amy’s wedding is a pretty, romantic and family-focused affair with the loveliest details and glorious images I know you’ll love! The flowers are out of this world…
“We didn’t have a theme as such…. Our key priority was having all the people there who we loved and who had looked out for us. Next it was making sure that we had really good food and drink. We both love cooking…and wine….as do our friends! We wanted our reception to feel like a big family meal, with our friends and family passing food around, chatting and enjoying. We went for a bit of an English-Italian fusion….. local Somerset Salami and buffalo mozzarella, Italian Parmesan, (local) Roast Beef and salads and our favourite wines that remind us of holidays.” See more...
Wild weddings are soooo incredible – I love the idea of marrying in a relaxed space, surrounded by nature, and let’s face it breaking the rules and ditching tradition and etiquette for something altogether more fun. Today’s styled shoot introduces us to the rather fabulous Browning Bros. – a wedding location where the extraordinary welcomes you with every step.
The shoot was beautifully photographed by lovely Ayshea Goldberg Photography. Ayshea’s eye for styling brought together a lovely bunch of suppliers who worked together to create a perfectly pretty woodland wedding scene: with tumbling florals, flowing calligraphy, nature-inspired cakes and delicate details for the loveliest boho woodland look!
