I love today’s real wedding blog – the peonies, the lens flare, the castle… the details are simple but the overall look is so elegant and beautiful. And Lulworth Castle is fabulous… the interior is perfectly imperfect and would lend itself to a modern, almost urban wedding style as gracefully as it does to today’s wonderfully feminine & romantic theme…
Autumn is well and truly here, and it’s time for snuggly jumpers, cosy fires, slipper socks and hot chocolate… and the loveliest wedding inspiration shoots you can imagine. Here’s one of our first of the season… it’s time to snuggle up with your favourite UK wedding blog, breathe in the fabulous colours and get inspired for your wedding…
I adore the colourful styling of today’s shoot: the bright flower crown with pops of red roses and the display ideas with splashes of yellow amongst a late summer green foliage. Apples are a key feature in so many autumn wedding styles, and here they add even more colour and texture to the design. Use these ideas for your wedding tables and display areas – or pop place name tags onto apples for a cute place setting idea!
I love Jo and Ed’s wedding for its elegant, relaxed styling and the timelessly beautiful images – they married in late spring and chose seasonal flowers alongside the loveliest little touches to flavour their day. The ceremony at Doddington Hall is incredible: the reception full of country charm. I love their homemade honey favours (their own bees… how lovely is that?!) and the pretty florals used throughout the day.
Weddings can be pretty and timeless, alternative and unique, homemade and rustic – and I like to think that the English Wedding Blog features a lovely mixture of every kind of wedding. Our finest feature is the way we matchmake you, our amazing reader, with your local wedding suppliers. Here you’ll find your perfect florist, venue, photographer and every other supplier you desire for your day, simply by reading our daily features! Today we’re sharing Laura & Steve’s wedding from the breathtaking Northbrook Park, and images are by one of the UK’s very, very best photographers: lovely Liam Smith Photography.
Anna & Stuart’s Norwich wedding is full of smiles, and fun, and the most amazing atmosphere – the styling of the day is wonderful (I do love kilts!) and I adore the table plan and overall look of the day. Anna is absolutely gorgeous; Stuart looks fabulous. This, my lovelies, is a super wedding and I just know you’ll love it!
