So many times I’ve heard on Instagram (do come & see us there!) that you can make anything you photograph look pretty by adding a flower or a few styling touches. Not true – whatever you’re photographing has to be awesome already… like this! Don’t you just LOVE?!

Happy Monday morning, you lovely lot! I hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend and I wanted to start our week with something extraordinarily wonderful… a real wedding I’ve had stashed up my sleeve for a little while now, and one I love so, so much! Chrissi and Tom’s wedding is unique for their dramatic images by the ruins of Corfe Castle. Their wedding was photographed by fabulous Dorset wedding photographers Linus Moran and associate photographer Chris Gorman at Linus Moran Photography.

Lovers of tropical colours, vibrant details and playful wedding styling will enjoy today’s fun wedding feature from sunny Suffolk, with wedding photographer Ayshea Goldberg, one of our lovely English Wedding Blog sponsors! This is fabulous, funky and bold wedding DIY… and it rocks!

Words & images by Ayshea Goldberg Photography

This wedding at the was on such a hot summer day.  Jess’s tropical colour scheme looked amazing on such a sunny day.  Cerise pink and fiery orange bouquets and centre pieces really popped against the cool black and white venue décor.  The homemade pom poms in the skylight were a fun touch and tied the styling together really well.

Thank you.

I know some wonderful folks, and I’m lucky to work with so many lovely creative spirits and talented artists. If I could get you all together, brides and photographers, stationery designers and entertainers, in one room and matchmake you all I would. Sadly there’s no way you’d all fit in my dinky little calligraphy studio up here in the Lakes, so all I can do today is share the loveliness of the wonderful suppliers I’ve met along the way who are supporting the English Wedding Blog by being my sponsors. I have huge admiration for all of these hardworking independent businesses and I’d love for you to take a little time to discover (and book!) them today…

Emerald is my birthstone, and green has always been my favourite colour – as a nature lover I adore weddings with tons of green foliage and styling touches. Emma and Steve chose shades of green to style their day at the fabulous Deer Park Country House Hotel in Honiton, Devon. Their wedding is simple, elegant and understated – and the bride and groom are gorgeous.
