Hey lovelies! I hope you’re staying safe and cosy in this blustery weather! Today’s wedding is the perfect distraction from the wind and rain – Mimi and Jacob married on the 5th of January and incorporated so many cool ideas into their totally gorgeous and unique DIY wedding. The boys are all rocking a tux and dickie bow (and loving the James Bond look!); Mimi is absolutely stunning in a beautiful lace dress and veil. The details though… and the care and creativity these guys put into making their wedding a true reflection of their personalities is amazing!

Planning the entertainment for your wedding can be stressful at any time, but a Christmas wedding? How do you strike the right balance? Do you go fully Jingle Bells, or ignore the festive feeling and stick to the songs and sounds that matter to you? The thing is, with those blazing log fires, mistletoe, and frosty weather – all the better for snuggling close – winter is an incredibly romantic time of year. So, whatever theme you choose for your wedding, it has the potential to be magical. Your wedding entertainment is that little sprinkling of fairy dust on top, that makes the whole thing sparkle.
This shoot celebrates two fierce females, who want their union to be bursting with colour and fun. Their wedding is a contrast to identikit muted colour palettes and shuns traditional elements that we have come to expect with weddings; it’s a call out to brides and grooms (and everybody in between) who are looking for inspiration for an against the grain wedding, in both spirit and design detail. Truly authentic direction and photography style ensured that people could look at these images and relate with meaning to the story behind them.
Sometimes a styled photoshoot will leave me absolutely speechless… and yes, it’s about showing you ideas for styling a beautiful wedding. But it’s also about showcasing the very best wedding suppliers, sharing their creativity and imagination. So while this opulent, feast-for-the-eyes wedding style might be beyond the average wedding budget, every supplier involved can be booked for your wedding – the magic they’ve brought together to share on English Wedding today is only a taster of their talents. So grab a cuppa, take out your wedding planning journal, and make a note of these superb UK wedding talents. Fall in love, watch the video, scroll through the pics and Pin away, and then get in touch to find out what they can do for YOUR wedding!
