Happy weekend, lovely. I wanted to share something happy and inspiring and FUN with you today, courtesy of #englishweddingmember Fortune Band.

A video tells a thousand stories, so turn the volume UP and have a little dance in your slippers, to these awesome clips of Fortune Band in action!

1) Wedding at Borgo Egnazia Puglia, showcasing Fortune’s 8-piece band + DJ who took care of all music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, party & DJ for after-party.

2) A highlight showreel of some of Fortune Band’s favourite weddings around the world over the past couple of years.

Elegant styling and incredible florals for a classic English wedding. Today’s stunning bride Hannah wears a Pronovias gown from House of Snow, with Scott looking super handsome in a Ted Baker suit with velvet tie. This is a beautiful pre-pandemic wedding, and a treasured reminder of how weddings were, and will be again. Images are by our lovely friend Rob Dodsworth Photography, a Norfolk wedding photographer.

How did you choose your photographer?

Searched online with help of my bridesmaids. Turns out my friend that is getting married also chose Rob as her photographer at a similar time which was a complete coincidence!

After the year we’ve all had, it makes me so, so happy to be able to share real weddings. 2020 weddings were few and far between, but oh, the days which were able to go ahead as micro weddings have been SO special! Today we’re celebrating with beautiful Danielle and handsome husband Lewis, who were married in 2020. Their story is told in the loveliest photographs by English Wedding member Grace Elizabeth, a Devon wedding photographer. My heart goes out to Danielle and Lewis – having to postpone their wedding because of covid, and then changing dates so their micro wedding could go ahead, must have been so hard. It’s really heartwarming to hear how their suppliers pulled out all the stops to make this day happen. Please do scroll all the way through for Grace Elizabeth’s fabulous golden hour portraits which capture the love of these two so perfectly!

Winter’s chill brightened with colourful berries and a floral crown – this shoot was sent in by English Wedding member Gail Gardner, and we think it’s perfect to brighten a dreary winter’s day! The florals are stunning, the cake looks divine! This lovely shoot was captured before lockdown came into force, and it’s a wonderful thing to see wedding creatives doing what they do so brilliantly.

“We enrolled Anthology Vintage Hire for the vintage furniture. Our photographer was so keen to have the bride looking striking in the woods with her winter snow coat. We changed the hairstyle a couple of times and the florist created the most beautiful winter bouquet.

If you missed our playful, inventive and blow-your-mind-beautiful Narnia inspired photoshoot the other day, you’ll want to check it out here…

I had a little chat to videographer Mike Savory on insta and we thought it would be fabulous to share the film of the shoot with you as well. The movement is simply enchanting: the delicate snowflakes and smoke take this to another level… it’s pure wedding fantasy, beautifully done, and I hope you love it to BITS!!“english
