This morning couldn’t have worked out better. I want to end 2020 on a really positive note – and with the most heartfelt thank yous to our wonderful couple Sophie and Chris, I’m about to share something AMAZING. This year has been heartbreaking – we’ve lost people, we’ve postponed weddings, we’ve missed everyone we love. My friends and wedding creatives have suffered unbelievably, and for many of us, I know we just want to write off 2020 and start over with a fresh and positive 2021.
But that’s no way to end the year for a wedding blog, is it?!
I’d marry these two myself… gorgeous Martha & Phil had the most joyful, character-filled, fun and beautiful wedding at Bruisyard. They say the LOVELIEST things about their wedding suppliers – lovely Emily Tyler Photography gets a glowing and heartfelt review from the happy couple. They’ve also recommended a huge list of Suffolk wedding suppliers from personal experience, so do check those out (at the end of the feature). Do NOT scroll too fast through all the images though, because they’re BLOODY BEAUTIFUL. What an amazing day… Martha, Phil, congratulations! We think you’re awesome!!

This week is flying by! Can you believe there are only… 13 days left before Christmas?! Eeeek!! (We have a lovely schedule of features to share over Christmas by the way – I’m super excited to hit ‘publish’ again almost EVERY day through the Christmas break!) But first – a wonderfully elegant, graceful and enchanting wedding from Glemham Hall, with stunning bride Aimee and her handsome husband James! The happy pair were married in October, and describe their day as “Rustic, romantic, Autumnal, Scottish, elegant, with a grand staircase. Perfect.” That’s pretty much the loveliest wedding-in-a-nutshell description I’ve ever read! Images are by our wonderful friend Ayshea Goldberg Photography, and I hope you enjoy today’s real wedding as much as I do. Have a fabulous day!
Happy Sunday, lovelies! I hope you’re having a relaxing weekend – and staying toasty warm, wherever you are! Today we have a pretty wedding from Woodhall Manor in Suffolk. Bride Cara looks beautiful in a sleeveless, lace embroidered dress by Ronald Joyce. Handsome hubby Chris and their nearest and dearest kept it quiet that they’d arranged for Cara’s horse Nero to be brought to the venue on the day, as she’d always dreamed of having him there on her wedding day! The photos, needless to say, are just wonderful. They’re by our lovely friend and English Wedding member Ayshea Goldberg Photography.
