As a girl with a freely admitted paper fetish, I do love to see a shoot where deliciously designed stationery takes centre stage. (And because I’m totally skill-less with flower arranging, I adore it when beautifully styled flowers share the limelight!) So today’s bright, springtime wedding style inspiration is just so lovely to share with you. I hope it brightens your heart and your day as much as it does mine!

2017 brides get to surround themselves with the most lush flowers imaginable – and the trend for exciting, statement flora is growing in momentum. “Flora”? Like, Latin? Yes – because I mean everything that’s gorgeous and green in nature – bouquets and arrangements are so much more than bunches of flowers. Today’s inspiration showcases the most stunning blooms and tendrils of leaf and stem; succulents, ferns, varieties of everything like we’ve never seen before.

Winter weddings can mean frosty, ice blues and silver, or rich tones, warming reds and candlelight… today we’re thrilled to be sharing these gorgeously vibrant wedding style ideas from a wonderfully talented team of Cornish wedding suppliers at The Cow Shed.

The flowers are rich, red, with textures and tons of foliage. Lighting and candles are key. Rustic styling (twigs? we LOVE!) and mosses make this a wedding styled shoot we could just melt our little hearts right into.

Two of the hottest trends for 2017/18 weddings are bridal separates and urban chic. Combining both gives a contemporary romance, an independence from traditional expectations and a beautiful individuality to wedding styling.

Today we’re featuring a shoot with the most exciting aesthetic: fabulously textured bouquets and florals with dark foliage and statement blooms, and those beautiful bridal separates by our new favourite designer Ailsa Munro. The shoot took place in Pembrokeshire – the locations and backdrops create images with a spirit which truly captures my heart, and the images of the skirt catching the breeze are outstanding…

I’m a little bit in love with today. I am feeling full of the joys of spring – and we have so many wonderfully floral, vibrant and fresh wedding style features heading your way over the next few weeks I can’t wait. But today – today’s a little more special than most.
