Jetsetting bridal brand Otaduy is one of our favourites here at the English Wedding Blog HQ. Their dresses are floaty light, pretty and simple – and their styled shoots remind us all that brides don’t have to look like princesses. I love their look: it’s sassy, a little alternative and always gorgeously streetwise.

Today’s editorial was photographed on Lisbon streets by Hugo Coelho. The urban setting brings the dresses to life – the look is fabulously fashionista and perfect for a modern, city bride!

I know so many of you will be making plans to include your little ones in your day, and we’ve seen so many lovely ideas for children at weddings over the last months on the blog. Today I have a visual treat for you: beautiful imagery from London wedding photographer Eva Tarnok, with the sweetest mother & daughter enjoying the vibrant colours of lavender fields in the evening sunshine.

A tip for all of you mums and dads out there: gather up your little ones on your wedding day, whisk them off for a special few moments to enjoy being a family together. You’ll have images to treasure for all of your lifetimes, I promise.

When Angela got in touch with me to share this shoot, I loved two things most of all: the simple touches of greenery which make this look absolutely breathtaking, and her approach to creating a look which real brides and grooms can recreate in their own way, without having to spend a fortune. Perfect!

The Railway Barn in Chelmsford, Essex is on a working vineyard in an industrial setting, bare brickwork and the vines created a beautiful backdrop. We brought in natural elements such as the wooden tables and chairs and coloured glass and crockery to enhance the look and touches of cooper in the cutlery added a touch of luxury.

Hi everyone! I have been saving up this beauty of a shoot to glam up your Monday and give your eyes a treat! Lovely English Wedding Blog sponsor Amanda Karen Photography delights us every time with her editorial shoots, and this is one of her very best. Teaming up with Fleur & Fig Styling & Events, the look is fine art beauty mixed with an edge of London chic. The backdrop is the fabulous (and brilliantly named) Dead Dolls House, which inspired Fleur & Fig’s styling and design concepts you’re about to see.

I met lovely Tracy from The Flower House at a styled editorial shoot last September – and she’s one of the friendliest wedding creatives you could hope to meet. Tracy’s talents with flowers are a joy to witness:  her arrangements are thoughtful and beautifully arranged, with huge character and a fabulous contemporary style. They’re the focal point of today’s inspiration feature, which shows you how to style a bohemian wedding with rich tones for late summer. The images are by my lovely friend Jenny Heyworth Photography for Aspire Photography Training.
