Continuing with the beautiful escapism of weddings this week… we head to Hooton Pagnell for a sublimely sustainable styled shoot! The early sunshine is a delight; the look is natural, organic and elegant, and the special touches (cake! calligraphy! candles!) are FABULOUS!

Mark Crayden captured the shoot. We all loved his raw and effortless talent to be able to capture emotion, as well as the transitioning season. We were inspired by seasonal flowers, consisting of pretty peachy hues, a Pantone blue pop and with subtle earthy touches. Cut and bulb form was key to Sam of Fantail Designer Florist, whilst the use of moss and eco-friendly techniques were also adopted throughout. No floral foam was used for our inspirational shoot.

We’re brining you serious wedding escapism this morning – away from the surreal and scary world out there. But before all that, I know many of you are so worried about your wedding plans for the summer. My advice for all of you is to focus on the truly important: not your wedding, not your marriage even, but your love. No matter what, your love will get you through this. And for advice, reassurance, and all the practicalities of wedding planning with coronavirus a very real threat on the horizon, read Annabel’s superb advice features on Love My Dress. She’s got your back, and with a great team of wedding experts on board, all the advice you could ask for is there.

When Noemi (Thyme Lane Photography) emailed me with this earthily beautiful elopement, she had my heart in a few words: “I just don’t think couples need to spend extreme amounts of money and stress a lot about their day, just have a few pretty details and love each other.”

Yes. That. Exactly that. We share every kind of wedding inspiration on blogs, from luxury weddings to intimate celebrations and elopements (and I’m on the lookout for a micro wedding!) but this – this is what makes me personally smile more than anything in the world. A personal celebration of love, a handful of STUNNING images, and some simple, ethical, wonderful details. It’s all you need. I will hand over to lovely Noemi to tell you more!

Hey lovelies! I’ve been saving this glorious shoot until the end of the week because it’s just so special – the colours are just WOW, the bride’s Amki lehenga set sparkles and shines beautifully – and the look is so elegant, dramatic and romantic all at once! Lovely Charan from Ivory Events & Weddings sent this in, and honestly, my weekend just wouldn’t be the same without it. Don’t miss the list of talented wedding suppliers who brought this dreamy photoshoot to life: scroll all the way through to see everyone involved. Over to Charan with the details…

Mondays are always better when you stuff them full of the most incredible flowers, don’t you think? Today’s wedding inspiration comes from rural Berkshire, and features pretty, modern wedding styling from a super talented bunch of suppliers. I just adore Ruby & Grace‘s romantic blooms, and gorgeous letterpress wedding invitations from the fabulous Print For Love.

Lovely Sigi Kirkpatrick shared her stunning images with us, and told us a little about the concepts behind the beautiful ideas you’re about to see. Happy Monday, lovelies!
