This photoshoot was brought together by a talented group of wedding suppliers at Hamswell House in the Cotswolds. It’s all so beautifully thought out, with the most incredible details and styling. I was over the moon when Susannah Halsey got in touch with me over the summer, to share this breathtakingly beautiful wedding inspiration. When it comes to English garden wedding styling ideas, I do love to know that this particular wedding blog shines out from the crowd. Today’s images are some of the very best – they’re from the glorious Gaddesden Estate in Hertfordshire – a relatively new wedding venue, owned by the Halsey family.
Today’s wedding style inspiration is just fabulous – the dress steals the show, it was Jen’s actual dress from her wedding to Elliott in 2019 – a custom design based on a beautiful Maggie Sottero gown, brought to life by Nicole at Elise Designs. Jen’s childhood hobby was designing wedding dresses and this was her dream dress – I think we can safely say it’s ours too?!

I miss Italy. I spent some time working over there as a student, and I remember the sunshine, the beautiful cities and lush, romantic countryside. The long, lazy evenings spent with friends and the adventures I had exploring the countryside at weekends. So when this glorious destination wedding photoshoot landed in my inbox I fell head over heels in love! Those sunsets…
