I just love how today’s beautiful and intimate wedding travels from city chic to seaside bliss in just a few stunning frames! Beautiful bride Jade wears a minimal and graceful dress from The Pretty Dress company and Gboyega is super stylish in a fitted suit from T.M. Lewin. They describe their September wedding as private, simplistic, intimate, meaningful… and windy! And they chose the perfect Dorset wedding photographer – our lovely friend and English Wedding member, Linus Moran Photography (www.linusmoranphotography.co.uk)

Have you ever wondered how wedding planners and stylists get married? Me too! Today I’m thrilled to say we have all the answers, as lovely Lauren and David are sharing their stunning Wiltshire wedding on the English Wedding blog today. Lauren is the owner of Lauren Alexander Weddings – she’s also an English Wedding reader and has shared some fantastic tips with us in a brilliant interview (which carries on beneath all of the beautiful photographs). Lauren and David describe their day as, “Fun, boozy, eclectic, beautiful, happy, musical and ‘us’.” – which is, for me, everything the perfect wedding could ever need. There are stunning styling touches as well – plenty of DIY ideas and the FUNNEST and most gorgeous wedding shoes! I just know you’ll love this! Over to Lauren…

Refined elegance is a thing we do oh so well in this country – and today’s couple Charlotte and Nick chose to keep their day perfectly elegant with pristine details and the prettiest styling. Pale blues and white florals make this a really beautiful day, with the cake and bouquet both being showstoppers I think you will LOVE!

Beautiful bride Charlotte wears a stunning traditional dress with embroidered bodice and layers upon layers of tulle for a fabulous skirt full of movement – while her gorgeous groom Nick looks the part in a traditional morning suit with a pale blue tie and white wedding waistcoat.

It’s the weekend so let’s PLAY! I have the funnest, prettiest, PINKEST wedding to share with you today, with gorgeous couple Poppy and Panos. They married in church and had a reception at Rectory Farm in Cambridge, where they styled the marquee with two beautiful big chandeliers hanging from the roof, and decorated the dace floor with huge pink paddle balloons with pink and white tassels. The David Austin roses everywhere are such a show stopper – this is most definitely a wedding for those of us who love pink!

Hey Lovely! I’m having the busiest day with calligraphy orders in my little studio today, so apologies for the slightly later-than-usual blog post! I’m excited to share this pretty folk festival styled wedding which was done on a tight budget, believe it or not! The personal touches make this day ever so special: both Lauren & Stefan are involved with the morris dancing & folk music scene, which adds a wonderful traditional, old English flavour to their day! The gorgeous couple had a friend play Lauren down the aisle and were given a morris guard of honour as they left the church before having a dance. They used Lauren’s fathers old American Camaro for the transport and had two different bands in the evening, one of which was Stefan’s dad’s band!
