Today’s beautiful bride Alexandra describes her wedding to Elikem as “a collage of vintage pastels, silver screen, Motown and total euphoria!” – don’t you just love that?! Their day was themed around Motion Pictures. “El and I are huge film fans so our invites looked like movie tickets and each table was named after one of our favourite films.”
Due to the time of year I researched and suddenly came across the idea of having dried flowers which were so different. I had never seen a Bride before with dried flowers and the bouquets on The Artisan Dried Flower Company‘s website were stunning. The flowers really complimented El’s tweed suit too. See more...
Steph and Sean’s wedding is family focused, all about the party – it breaks any stuffy old rules about weddings… and it’s fabulous. The pretty summer flowers are gorgeous, the bride and groom look fantastic – this is real rock ‘n’ roll attitude with a modern twist and I LOVE it!
Images are by my faves – documentary wedding photographers York Place Studios – who captured the spirit and atmosphere of the day from the pretty and informal ceremony under canvas to the crazymazing dancefloor moves at the end of the night!
The style of Chell and Ben’s wedding is wonderful: this is a themed wedding done beautifully, and it’s a joy to scroll through their images! When this wonderfully sparkly, gold, glamorous wedding landed in my inbox I knew you’d adore every detail…
For those of you who love the style of vintage Hollywood, today’s wedding is more than perfect. Gorgeous bride Hettie has the most amazing glamorous look – her red vintage updo is stunning! And the details throughout the whole day – from guests’ outfits through to the fabulous art deco inspired stationery – are just perfect.
