A fabulous tipi celebration in the height of summer. A gorgeous, relaxed and head-over-heels in love couple. Rustic styling, tons of florals, vibrant colours and a party atmosphere. It really doesn’t get much better than this! Howard and Rowena’s wedding venue was the village field in Iwerne Minster, the village where Rowena’s mother lives. By day the field is a football pitch and on a sunny day in August it was transformed with the addition of tipis into their wedding venue! I hope you love this one as much as I do. Huge thanks to Rowena and Howard, and to our fabulous friend and Dorset wedding photographer Robin Goodlad Photography. Do read the groom’s interview below – the story of their day is fantastic! This week is turning out to be pretty amazing for blog features! I feel spoilt… today we have the most breathtaking wedding, with a bride and groom who flew all the way from Canada to the UK for their wedding. Penny & Jacob were married at Dodford Manor in Northamptonshire. Penny grew up here, and getting wed in her home county was important for the two of them. They had a fun chilled out day with guests from all over the world.

Penny’s dress is sensational. The styling is beautiful. Jacob looks amazing. This is a fabulous summer wedding I know you will love, and with images by lovely Johnny Dent Photography, who is based in Devon.

Did you see Hannah and Alex’s wedding rehearsal on the blog yesterday? I’m still in love with that pretty sunflower dress… which was a clue to all the sunflower loveliness coming up on English Wedding today! Theirs was a wedding weekend following American traditions but celebrated over two days at Great Fosters in Surrey – and our lovely friend Amanda Karen Photography was there to capture it all!

Pinterest fingers ready my lovelies, for a feast of sunflowers, summer blooms and fairy lights – and one of the prettiest backless wedding dresses I’ve ever seen! Huge congratulations to a happy and amazing couple – Hannah & Alex, you’re so good together and we LOVE your wedding!

I know so many of you will be having a wedding weekend this summer – it’s THE biggest trend in weddings this year, and a fabulous way to squeeze in a little more precious time with your nearest and dearest. So I am excited to be (virtually) spending this weekend in the company of gorgeous couple Hannah and Alex, who were married at Great Fosters in Surrey and celebrated over two amazing August days. Their wedding weekend is beautifully captured by our fabulous friends and Essex wedding photographers Amanda Karen Photography.

Gorgeous couple Rhalina and Toby describe their wedding – and I LOVE this – as “a mix of tradition and latino energy with Art Deco club glamour”. It just about sums up the vibrance and energy of their day – and yet you need to scroll through all the images to capture the excitement and magic of it all! They were married in Mayfair in August, with a ceremony at Farm Street Church and their reception at The Landsdowne Club on Fitzmaurice Place.
