Jenny and Ben’s August wedding is instantly a favourite for me – they’re the loveliest, sweetest couple and their day just rocks my wedding bloggy WORLD!! There are some wonderful ideas I just know you’ll love – aside from the hundreds of pom poms, there’s a mobile gin factory on a VW camper van with jars of spices and copper pots to make your very own wedding gin right there on the day – genius. There are sunflowers and pinwheels in a rainbow of colours, along with fairy lights everywhere, and fabulous vintage style tea length dresses, and GLORIOUS florals – it’s just everything. Jenny looks stunning in her Brighton Belle dress. Ben’s relaxed look gets a huge YES from me: suits are not obligatory for weddings, guys! He looks fab – and more than anything, the happiness between these two is infectious. They describe their day as “a colourful rustic, vintage, craft collaboration with a gin twist!”

Morning lovelies!! I just got back from Venice – and I’ve had the most wonderful adventure of a lifetime over there. Also – a huge eye-opener of a holiday with the flooding and danger to the city and its inhabitants as well as its treasures. I’ll write more about it soon – but for now, if you haven’t been to Venice, put it on your honeymoon shortlist (before this treasure and once-in-a-lifetime destination disappears forever). So after my time away, I’m excited to share this stunning wedding today. Gorgeous couple Joshua and Chloe were married at Wrest Park in Bedfordshire on a beautiful day in August. Gorgeous couple Carly and Steve tied the knot in August, choosing our fabulous friend and Thornbury Castle wedding photographer Martin Dabek to capture their day. Carly is breathtaking in a stunning embroidered gown from The Dressing Rooms in Halesowen – if anyone knows the designer of this dress, do give us a shout because we LOVE it! The florals are divine, and Claire from The Wilde Bunch (who Martin recommended to Carly and Steve) gets the loveliest review from our happy couple.
