Hello there! I know you’re going to love Luke and Hannah’s Kent wedding blog. It’s the first wedding I’ve ever featured from the wonderful 14th century manor house Penshurst Place, which is magnificent. Hannah looks incredibly beautiful in a wedding dress by Stephanie Allin, and Luke is every bit the English gent in a long jacket complete with cane.

There are so many fantastic ideas here to inspire your wedding planning, including sunflower bouquets and table decorations, and – my favourites – the cutest little place name card holders with dinky little sunflowers.

But the most exciting thing about today’s wedding is Hannah and Luke’s memories of the moment their eyes met as Hannah walked down the aisle:

Hannah: “I will never forget seeing Luke for the first time as I walked down the aisle and the look on his face when he turned around and saw me. I couldn’t stop smiling, nothing has ever felt so right!”

One thing we have here in England is history. While the US wedding blogs are so full of chic and contemporary ideas, fabulous styling and creative ideas, have you ever noticed how many US weddings are outdoors? Today’s Sussex wedding is set in what sounds like a fabulous and very old wedding venue – Pangdean Barn.

The very gorgeous Helen and Pete chose sunflowers to create a wonderfully vibrant and happy summer wedding style. Thanks to Dennison Studios Photography for sharing the photographs of their beautiful wedding with us today. I hope you love it! Claire xxx

How would you describe your wedding style?

Laid back, relaxed and for everyone to have a great time.

I think perhaps I’m becoming known for my love of sunshine! I live at the seaside, and when it’s cold it’s sooooo cold: but when the sun shines it’s incredibly beautiful. And I talk about it a LOT! Somerset wedding photographer Simon Biffen knows exactly how to get my attention: with an offer of a beautifully sunny Sorrento wedding blog feature!

Lucy and Joe were married last summer and invited Simon Biffen to be their wedding photographer. Lucy is English and Joe is American, so they chose a destination wedding in Italy as a way of meeting in the middle!

Their theme included purple details and the wedding day was timeless and simple in style, with the location and love creating all the atmosphere you could dream of!

Simon told me a little more about Lucy and Joe’s wedding day:

If Google didn’t tell me I had to start with some words of introduction to my wedding blog posts, I’d launch straight into today’s feature with the beautiful images from Victoria and David’s teepee wedding. There’s so much to show you, and you’ll LOVE this!

Cambridge teepee wedding by Lightworks Photography (1)There is always a certain charm and romance to a wedding in a teepee, especially when you include a stunning bride in a couture wedding dress and details as enchanting as those I’m about to share with you. And wait until you see the cutest flower girl in the world behind the wheel of a vintage wedding car… you’ll just melt!

I’m delighted to share this wedding with you today. If there was a wedding of the week award I’d be rushing to present it to everyone involved in today’s post – so congratulations and the biggest thank you to Victoria and David for sharing their story; and a huge thank you also to Cambridge wedding photographer Andrew from Lightworks Photography for the submission. Everyone – enjoy! Claire xxx

I’m sat here writing today’s wedding blog with a little tear in my eye. Wedding films move me – they do! The nervous moments as a groom waits for his bride get me every time! And then he reaches towards her and has to wipe away a tear… it’s magical, and so lovely. So – a warning: Davina and Dave will make you cry! Enjoy their Sheffield wedding highlights film by Love Gets Sweeter and read Davina’s beautifully written wedding story below (I laughed out loud at Dave and the dolphin trainer!)

Dave and Davina: a beautiful Sheffield wedding blog

When Dave proposed after 5 years together I knew that we weren’t going to have a long engagement and eagerly got stuck into planning our big day. Although we had no idea where we wanted to get married we knew that it had to be big enough for our family and friends without being cold and uninviting.

Morning everyone, and Happy Friday! I’ve been saving today’s gorgeous Cheshire wedding blog for this morning – it seems to fit with that whole Friday feeling thing. There’s sunshine and romance, and a stunning bride and groom – in fact wedding blog subscribers will recognise Karen and Simon from their wedding highlights film which I was so proud to feature back in January (see an autumn wedding in Cheshire).

Cheshire wedding blog Hambleton Photography (1)

I love this quote from the happy couple:

Try to leave yourselves as much time as possible between all the day’s activities to spend with family and friends, after the day those will be the moments you cherish the most.

Karen wears a fabulous dress by Sassi Holford and the day has a purple theme because it’s the ribbon colour for pancreaticcancer.org.uk – a cause very close to the hearts of the bride and groom. This is all explained in the wedding report which Karen and Simon have shared with us today, and you’ll see some really beautiful images from Cheshire wedding photographer Martin Hambleton – with unexpected and wonderful moments captured as well as some magical portraits. I know you’ll love this! Grab a Crunchie (after all, as Wendy always tells me, we should celebrate Fridays in style!!)

An aisle of sparklers – what a fantastic idea! Today’s wedding blog is another very festive celebration with wonderful creative touches. From the choice in wedding music to the little note about weirdness and love (watch out for the photo!) I absolutely love David & Carol’s wedding!

Sussex wedding blog James Grist (1)

Having read this very gorgeous couple’s wedding report already, I’m smiling at mentions of walking back down the aisle twice (when the CD kicked in late!) and imagining that amazing aisle of sparklers – but what sticks in my mind is this: (from one of the many lovely images by James Grist Photography)

“We are all a little weird, and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours we join up with them, and fall in mutual weirdness, and call it LOVE!”

How fab is that?! Over to the gorgeous bride and groom with their wedding report (which starts about halfway down the page) and with thanks to James Grist for submitting this wonderful wedding blog today. Enjoy! Claire xxx

From police tape around the wedding cake to the softly sparkling lights and Nicola’s stunning vintage lace wedding dress, I adore every detail of this gorgeous Vaulty Manor wedding. If you’re considering or planning a Christmas wedding then you’ll find some gorgeous ideas here with Nicola and Tim’s wedding report and the beautiful images from Tracy Morter Photography to inspire you.

Essex wedding blog Tracy Morter Photography (1)

I love a Christmas wedding – somehow all the love and friendship along with twinkly lights and little red accessories and details turn the coldest time of the year into a warm and welcoming occasion. My parents chose December for their wedding, and I can definitely see why it’s such a popular time of year to get hitched.

Anyway – I know you’ll enjoy today’s real wedding on the blog so grab a cuppa and scroll down to see all the images. Thanks to Nicola and Tim for sharing, and to the very lovely Tracy Morter Photography for submitting another gorgeous wedding to the blog!

Hi again! Are you having a lovely day? I must say it’s nice to see sunshine on English Wedding Blog today! AJ and Ed’s Warwickshire wedding is warm and beautiful in every way: full of loving looks and radiant sunshine, and with a fabulous style to inspire your wedding day too!

Warwickshire wedding blog, Vickerstaff Photography (1)

My thanks to lovely (and clearly highly sought after!) Jamie from Vickerstaff Photography for the submission, and congratulations to the gorgeous bride and groom. AJ and Ed created a fabulous wedding at Stoneleigh Abbey and they’ve been kind enough to share their wedding story with us all today. Enjoy the wedding blog – the images are fantastic and the wedding report is about halfway down the page.

A little about the wedding ceremony:

It had rained and rained for months, so the most I was hoping for was for it to be dry, at least for part of the day. Well not only was it dry it was hot! Which, when getting married in the Orangery (think greenhouse) meant the ceremony was very hot!! But I’ll never complain about the weather we got that day.

Oh my word. I honestly don’t know where to start… today’s wedding is absolutely out of this world. The images are compelling, the design and styling are gorgeous – and best of all, Laura and James had such an amazing day – their very own personal wedding, styled to suit their characters and loves, from music (and lots of it) to playful and gorgeous photography… I LOVE this!

There’s something about London wedding photographer Marshal Gray which sets him way above the crowd: he captures the beauty and atmosphere of a wedding day in such a unique and contemporary style. Star of all the top UK wedding blogs, his weddings are beautiful without exception – and James and Laura give a glowing review. You’re about to see why!

I have to add that today’s bride and groom are a fantastic couple – Laura describes their wedding style as “totally ours. Loosely based on an English country garden wedding but with a vintagey vibes and a shabby chic twist.” This is the perfect example of a wedding celebration which follows its own rules, beautifully and with an unforgettable style.

Today’s wedding is unashamedly about fabulous colour and styling. Beautiful bride Ranjeet made her wedding invitations with the help of her sister, setting the scene for a wonderfully creative day with a riot of wedding colours and the most amazing atmosphere.

Chris and Ranjeet had the help of my friend and wedding planner Julie Dawson, who goes by the (very apt!) name of The Wedding Genie. I’ll let Julie tell you about the wedding day, and the images you’re about to enjoy are by Cathy from Oehlers Photography.

Enjoy! Claire xxx

By Julie Dawson: I started to work with Chris and Ranjeet right at the beginning of their journey. Chris thought a wedding planner would help Ranjeet because she has a busy and demanding job. How cool is that for a man to think of a wedding planner! Ranjeet was not sure because she is super organised but in the end we became a perfect mix. I helped fuse together their vision, gave plenty of support and produced a brilliant team of suppliers.

Good morning, wedding blog lovers! Today’s beautiful bride Annabel got in touch with me back in November to tell me all about her wedding to Anthony back in the summer of 2012. I was immediately smitten with their wedding story and loved the style of this beautiful day: white hydrangeas, a 6ft cathedral mirror with calligraphy (by my friend Angelo Meola) for a seating plan, and of course the magnificent wedding venue Syon Park.

Annabel has shared such a great wedding report I really don’t want to write too much here so all I’ll say is thank you both to Annabel and Anthony, and to wedding photographer Especially Amy for sharing the images with us today.

The wedding report from Annabel is about half way down the page, and I have to share my favourite line from it to set the scene for this blog feature:

Annabel says, “at the end of the day everyone is there to celebrate you and your husband which is the only thing that matters and creates the most incredible feeling of love, warmth and fun on the day!
