I shared a sneak peek of Cindy and Jacques’s wedding… I couldn’t resist: it was too beautiful! And then lucky me… Hampshire photographer Heni Fourie got in touch to see if I’d like to show you more. Oh, yes!!
The venue is stunning: Buckinghamshire’s West Wycombe Estate is a Grade II listed Palladian villa set in 5000 acres of parkland – and the house has been used for filming indoor scenes in Downton Abbey! Some of Heni’s photos show the magnificent decor of the house… those ceilings!!!
Today’s couple are so gorgeous and lovely I could burst with excitement to show you their wedding! Liza and Matt had the prettiest day at Redhouse Barn in Worcestershire – a fabulously light and airy barn with scope for a personal touch which I love! And oh, my goodness did they glam the place up with some super luxe floral arrangements…
Proof, if ever anyone needed any, that barn weddings don’t have to be rustic… today’s wedding is super sophisticated, traditional and full of glamorous detailing: there isn’t a scrap of hessian to be found!
Today’s real wedding is the prettiest treat for your eyes… with the softest pastel shades and loveliest couple. We’re talking dreamy decor and delicious design from the Wroxeter Hotel in Shropshire – and you’ll love it!
Claire and Oliver married in May and styled their wedding as an afternoon tea party. They loved the idea of tea and cake for their reception instead of a formal wedding breakfast, and chose the pastel shades to give a real spring flavour to their day.
If you know a whole bunch of talented people, you’re one of the lucky ones. Georgia and Ross will tell you – being able to ask friends and family to make things for your wedding day, and knowing they’ll be amazing, is just the best thing ever.
Today’s real wedding comes from the Warwickshire countryside where Georgia grew up. The marquee is pitched in a field of the family farm; pretty much every detail is the work of a talented friend or family member. And it’s all gorgeous.
It’s never just about the details – although the details are superb in today’s wedding blog I promise! It’s about having all of your friends and family in the same room, just for the two of you – and laying on a fantastic party for everyone you love most in the world.
Somehow, the magical atmosphere of a wedding comes through the photographs I’m sent, onto my laptop screen and all the way to my smile… and I fall head over heels for a wedding. Like today. Yasmin and Simon are amazing – they’re gorgeous, fun and creative and their wedding at Old Down Manor is just wonderful. See more...
