Wow!!! Today’s is a wedding which will grab your attention instantly! I absolutely loved the daytime portraits of Alice and James, and then the evening light transformed this day into something incredibly, unbelievably beautiful.
We got married and had the reception at The Old Hall in Ely just outside of Cambridge. It’s a beautiful venue and we got married in their gazebo overlooking a lake and Ely cathedral.
I love today’s wonderful winter wedding – I know you’ll adore the bouquets, and bride Hayley looks absolutely gorgeous. Also – they hired a Jag for the whole week? Genius!! I love that!
I had the stereotypical crying-in-front-of-the-mirror experience when I found my dress! I had gone in with a very set vision of what I wanted, but then Lauren the sales assistant suggested something totally different. I was feeling open minded so tried it on, and ended up buying that dress.
A gold pineapple sitting pretty on top of a wedding cake covered in sparkles… those little micro fairy lights… gilded apples and pears, tissue poms, and the most gorgeous bride and groom. Today’s wedding blog is full of pretty and we LOVE it!

Emma looks wonderful in an elegant, minimal and pretty dress with a simple bodice and prettily detailed sleeves; her bouquet of ivory roses is simple, sweet and was arranged by George’s mum!
Today’s lovely bride Ruth got in touch with me to show me her wonderfully creative woodland wedding to Stolly. They married this summer, celebrating in a woodland clearing – the space had nothing; they hired tipis and decorated the space themselves (along with lots of help from friends and family). I love how the woodland setting comes into its own in the evening, with fabulous lighting and areas for everyone to chat, dance and toast marshmallows around the fire! This is beautiful, free and goes to show there are no rules when it comes to wedding planning!
Today you get to see one of the loveliest weddings to grace my inbox this year. The ideas are wonderful; the craftsmanship fabulous on so many levels. Gorgeous bride Emma made her own dress and corset – she looks amazing and I love her style! I love the flowers, the way the venue looks, the bar(!) – how cool does that look?! – and Peter and Emma are just perfect together.
Peter designed all our wedding stationery using the Adobe Creative Suite then had it printed through Printed.com. He did a fantastic job, it was very personal to us and very reasonably priced. See more...
