It’s one of my favourite Surrey wedding venues and never fails to create the most fabulous atmosphere for a wedding. Canals have a romance all of their very own, don’t you think? If you’ve ever strolled along a canal before sunset you’ll know how wonderfully tranquil those towpaths can be. The adventure of drifting through England’s hidden waterways is one I dream of experiencing, one day. So Heather and Michael’s day has my heart: their photos by the locks are beautiful; their tipi reception is full of character and quaint old English charm – it’s perfect.

I’m a village girl – I grew up in a tiny Cumbrian village, moved away, moved back to another Cumbrian village and put roots down here – I just love village life! Caswell House in Oxford was the perfect venue – it’s a beautiful venue with lots of areas for photos. The team at Caswell are incredible, they made every effort on the day to make it special, including bringing canapés during the photos!
I love all the thought and time Jess put into styling her wedding to Antony! The detail of her dress and hairpiece are so pretty; I adore the bunting too. Everything about this day sings of summer, and I know you’ll love it as much as I do! Have a glorious day, everyone!
