Today my lovelies we’re delighting your pretty eyes with the most gorgeous blue hydrangeas and a lovely artistic wedding style – oh, and a super lovely bride and groom whose day is just wonderful. The details – in lovely blue shades – are fabulous, and the atmosphere of their day just comes across beautifully in the photos. You will LOVE this! Please do Pin away!
Today’s wedding will have you grinning happily at your screen and pinning to your heart’s content! I love the evening shots with all the sunshine – in fact the whole wedding looks fabulous. (I didn’t know that many people could get on the roof of a Landrover…!!) More to the point though, I love the festival vibe, the details shots of the flowers, bunting and sparkly lights. I adore Aimee and Tom – they look gorgeous, and amazing together. This is wedding blog gold, guys!

I love today’s wedding: the bright colours and gorgeous styling of Jodi and James’s vintage garden party, in the beautifully restored Farbridge barns, are just glorious. And the bride and groom are the loveliest, happiest couple ever – they look just fabulous too!
Images are by lovely Neil Walker, who is based in Sussex and loves Farbridge! “I shoot weddings at Farbridge quite regularly & it is definitely one of my favourite venues. Nickie & the team there are great & the light is wonderful in the courtyard & even in the barn where there are lots of windows, unusually for a barn. To cap it all, Simon the chef makes wonderful food, definitely the best food of any venue I know, & that’s saying something!”
I’m smitten with Danielle and Christian’s wedding – their entire day is beautiful: from the tiniest details (the collar on Danielle’s dress; Christian’s buttonhole) to the big stuff; I adore ALL of the portraits of the two of them, and those amazing red leaves on the building opposite their venue… what a stunning collection of memories of a beautiful homespun English wedding!
“My family were amazing and helped with quite a few things which saved us a lot. My nan made the invitations, place names and cupcake cases. My aunty made the cake and cupcakes. My uncle made the cake stand. The wooden box and hearts were bought on ebay for about £25, printed games were handmade by myself and my husband. The table plan I made myself.”
Barn weddings are sooo lovely: the perfect blank canvas, history and character allowing you to blend in with a rustic theme or contrast beautifully with elegance and country charm. Today’s wedding is perfectly pretty and will inspire countryside brides and grooms everywhere! Enjoy 🙂

Maidens Barn is located in Essex countryside, it’s a rural location and is a hidden gem. It’s surrounded by tranquil space and farmland. Because it’s so secluded and peaceful, it gives the feel that there’s nothing else going on in the world on your wedding day – which is exactly how you should feel. It’s beautiful and has a wonderful courtyard which can be used as one of the many scenic backdrops too.
