Another treat… a little holiday for our eyes, and some much-needed sunshine. This afternoon’s real wedding sneak peek comes from the blog of my lovely sponsor and super Bristol wedding photographer Joseph Hall.

Joseph photographed this enchanting wedding at a castle in the Dordogne – and I have fallen in love with every detail. This is beautiful.

Eve and Andrew are amazing, the location is incredible, the photography is out of this world. You definitely need to go see more on Joseph’s wedding photography blog…

Hello there! On this blustery afternoon I think you lovely lot deserve a little treat… so I’m pointing you in the direction of one of my favourite wedding photographers’ blogs, the wonderful Liam Smith Photography, for a bonus real wedding to delight your pretty eyes.

Katie and Tom are gorgeous: their wedding is light and summery and pretty and even prettier than that and full of the loveliest details which make it a perfect English summer wedding.

I’m going to remember July… when I look back on the English Wedding Blog features for the year I’ll be like, “oh July… that was when I shared that amazing Lakes wedding with Wainwrights and walking boots!” and quietly noted it as one of my favourite weddings of the year so far. I’ve always said weddings should be personal to you, whoever you are and whatever your crazy loves and hobbies may be! And if that’s muddy boots and cairns (Instagram friends will know it is for me!) then you’ll adore today’s wedding blog.

I think it’s the first time I’ve ever featured sleepy little piglets on the English Wedding Blog… but they’re sooo adorable!! And they’re the loveliest introduction to South Farm… a venue which today’s gorgeous bride will tell you is a worthy investment, a welcoming space and a fabulous place to get married!

Bex is more than gorgeous – she’s incredibly beautiful and looks radiant on her wedding day. She wears a divine wedding dress with the sweetest lace detailing, and her only accessory is the dried flowers in her hair (which are my absolute favourite thing!)

There’s *thinks for a moment* no, nothing I love more than a surprise wedding. And Rebecca and Brian pulled it off beautifully, sharing their secret with only a few wedding guests before their – supposed – combined birthday party. Brilliant!!

It took 8 weeks to plan the wedding, and Rebecca and Brian went online to source small, local suppliers to style their day. It looks amazing – surprise wedding this may be, but the details are all there! Rebecca is a beautiful bride with a pretty vintage dress and the most wonderfully colourful shoes (LOVE!), and Brian’s jacket and trousers combo is perfect: but their expressions (delight mixed with an element of cheeky surprise!) are my favourite thing. I love this!!
