Sunflowers are my favourite… nothing packs a punch quite like a wedding full of glorious sunflowers. Marianne and Sam’s wedding is like summer itself: warming and friendly, bright and cheerful, beautifully floral (of course!) and glorious with colour and sunshine. You’re going to LOVE today’s real wedding feature!
Sam and Marianne married at Pendrell Hall in Staffordshire, a superb venue which needs very little additional decor. Pendrell is one of England’s finest country house wedding venues, and I adore the atmosphere and charm of the house and gardens. Our bride and groom are both stunning: Marianne’s designer dress was made especially for her by the supremely talented Zeynep Kartal, while Sam wore Ted Baker. See more...
Trust in your own personal style, and I promise your wedding will come together and look amazing on the day. Laura and Arash did – they chose accessories and decor they liked rather than concentrating on a particular theme for their Bristol wedding, and the result is wonderfully chic, elegant and understated.
This is bliss. A modern wedding with a focus on family and “having a really good party” – oh boy, didn’t they just! Suppliers were found online and through personal recommendations, and money was saved by skipping chair covers and favours on the day.
Have you been to the Midland Hotel in Morecambe? It’s fabulous: an art deco hotel on the seafront, lovingly restored and restyled with so much character, and a superb wedding venue. I was there for the very first time only a month or so ago but the hotel has featured on the English Wedding Blog many times…
And so today I’m over the moon to have a fabulous wedding from the Midland Hotel to share with you. The details are classy and understated: flowers are white; stationery is stylish with a dash of art deco, and our brides are absolutely gorgeous! See more...
Dean and Leah are awesome! They had a super glamorous wedding at Warwick House, styled with elegant gold and white accents – and a gloriously golden wedding cake which just looks too good to eat.
They wanted their day to be simple, elegant and classy with a glam twist and oh they soooo got it right! From the shoes to the flowers and venue this is a fabulously chic day to inspire brides and grooms styling a contemporary wedding.
