This is the most festival-like wedding I’ve ever seen… and it’s perfect. I wonder sometimes if weddings are a little too formal for everyone: even when a wedding is styled to look like a festival, I think often it still feels more like a wedding – but today, the focus is well and truly on fun, and music, and really the decor and styling is only a tiny part of things. Phil and Elizabeth fell in love, married, and had the celebration of a lifetime. And it’s AMAZING.
It’s perfectly possible to make any theme look amazing: Katrina and Pete’s “twist of Harry Potter” wedding knocked me for six when I saw their gorgeous, vintage-inspired hanging table names. Wow. This is a wedding I KNOW you’ll love.
“The table plan was old keys that I bought and attached little butterfly wings to each one. We hung them on fishing line and attached them to a tree where we had the welcome drinks. They were supposed to resemble the flying keys from the first harry potter book. The effect was awesome and everyone took them home as a keepsake.” See more...
I love a humanist ceremony: it’s an incredible way of personalising your marriage and making it suit the two of you – no matter how or where you choose to marry. Add to this the most amazing flowers, a gorgeous couple and a wonderfully sunny day, and you have the perfect wedding. Here are Holly & Dame, in a real wedding film by Just Happy Together. Enjoy!

Dilini and William’s wedding in the Cotswolds is gorgeous: and I love it because it’s wonderfully personal to them as a couple. Dilini’s Sri Lankan background was a big part of the day, and they even had a wedding cake brought over from Sri Lanka especially!
Dilini told me, “The best thing we did was to pick a venue that was willing to make it as personal as possible for us. We loved The Matara Centre as we both felt it fitted with both of our backgrounds and personalities well.”
Today’s real wedding comes a little later than planned: I’ve been excitedly waiting to share this with you after its original publication on Juno & Joy. It’s a wonderfully light and pretty wedding from Windsor, with the most delicate florals and stunning portraits… and the most gorgeous and lovely couple you could meet.
Christine and Darren are all kinds of amazing – they’ve shared some super snippets of advice along with supplier recommendations in their English Wedding Blog interview this morning. Don’t miss it – towards the end of the blog feature.
