Over the Christmas break I’ll be sharing some favourite weddings over on our Instagram – so do, do catch me over there, as it’s going to be beautiful!! Here on the blog, this is our parting shot for 2020… and a stunning, gorgeous wedding to take us all the way through to 2021. I’VE NEVER LOOKED FORWARD TO A DATE MORE IN MY LIFE!

Today’s wedding inspiration is dreamily dark and daring – perfect for the occasion! Tonight – if legends are to be believed – the gates to other worlds are opened and spirits can pass between… Also, we get to light candles, dress up and watch a cracking horror. (has anyone seen The Haunting of Bly Manor?) In the meantime… wedding blogs are going to be rather fabulous today so do check them all – I’d like to think lovely Noemi at Thyme Lane Photography has come up trumps with this AMAZING inspiration filled with smoke bombs, dark sparkles and the most incredible styling creations!

Morning lovely! Aren’t the autumn vibes from this photo just glorious? I’m thrilled to bring you stunning Lana and James’s wedding in Cornwall today. The fabulous pair were married waaaaay before lockdown, and their 1940s inspired wedding is glamorous, sophisticated and full of love and warmth. All images are by our lovely English Wedding member and friend Tracey Warbey Photography. With love,“english

How did you choose your photographer?

I loved Tracey’s candid and natural style – her photographs look happy and spontaneous! When we met she was very down-to-earth, friendly and enthusiastic which I loved.

Hey there lovely, how are you doing today? For those of you in Yorkshire and the north of England, I have a fabulous wedding with some lovely supplier recommendations for you today. Gorgeous couple Caitlin and Daniel married last year, choosing local suppliers to capture and style their day. Coming from New Zealand, the venue was really special for Caitlin and Daniel – The Crown Hotel dates back 300 years and has all the old English charm you’d expect from such a classic venue. Caitlin looks amazing in a beautiful lace dress, Daniel her perfect match in a classic blue suit. The flowers by York’s Hare + Howl Floristry are fabulous!

This is the kind of wedding photography that will blow your mind. As Leanne and Mickey told me, as soon as they saw Robin Goodlad’s images they knew they’d found their wedding photographer – there was no need to look any further. There’s something incredibly beautiful about the balance of light and drama in these images; yet there’s also a stillness, a thoughtfulness to them. And of course, the wedding photographs you’re about to see capture the joy of our gorgeous couple’s wedding day, the love and the magic of it all. Join me, be swept away by their beautiful wedding day as you scroll through and read all about this beautiful Priston Mill wedding. All images by Dorset wedding photographer Robin Goodlad. With love,
