Do ask your wedding photographer about an engagement shoot – it’s one of the loveliest things you can do in the run up to your wedding (and a brilliant, fun and romantic escape from wedding planning!)

Engagement photo shoot at London's Blenheim Palace by Patryk Stanisz (4)

Kasi and Robert went to Blenheim Palace for their engagement shoot with London wedding photographer Patryk Stanisz, and I love how the images capture their relationship at a moment in time… there’s a lot to be said for memories of those precious days just before your wedding, don’t you think?

Seeing all of your table plans fascinates me: I’ve already decided I’d be on the Prodigy table for this one… although the choice is fantastic! Nonetheless today’s is a celebration where music really mattered, and it sounds as though the band playing at Stacey and Roger’s festival wedding outshone any of the famous names on the table plan! Today’s is a fab theme, and a gorgeous autumn wedding: I hope you love it as much as I do!

This is the most festival-like wedding I’ve ever seen… and it’s perfect. I wonder sometimes if weddings are a little too formal for everyone: even when a wedding is styled to look like a festival, I think often it still feels more like a wedding – but today, the focus is well and truly on fun, and music, and really the decor and styling is only a tiny part of things. Phil and Elizabeth fell in love, married, and had the celebration of a lifetime. And it’s AMAZING.

Winter weddings are my favourites. The cosy venues, candlelight and log fires are part of what makes a winter wedding special. I adore the cooler colour palettes and classic accessories winter brides and grooms choose too: all in all, it’s a wonderful time of the year! Gemma and Marc’s Oxfordshire wedding is pure bliss for winter months and I hope you love it as much as I do!
