They were blessed with gloriously hot weather for their celebrations in the Sussex countryside – and while tipis were set up nearby, the temperatures meant their dream of a woodland wedding was destined to come true.

The biggest change in weddings in the last five years has been in venues. Back in the day, you hired a big country house hotel and / or a marquee. Now it seems half of our weddings in the UK are in barns and fields – and I LOVE that! It gives you so much more creative freedom to style your day – and fits perfectly with three MAJOR wedding styles: barn weddings, festival weddings and tipi weddings.

Beautiful Olivia and dapper hubby Philip had an outdoor ceremony and wonderfully light and bright marquee reception at Chippenham Park. My top tip for your wedding is to let your daughter wear her rainbow roller-skates, and skate down the aisle!! Lovelies, this is one of my favourite weddings of the year – gorgeous Katherine and Nick made pretty much everything themselves, and planned a relaxed, informal celebration at Whitemoor Farm with a really individual and unique style.
