Hey lovelies! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Who else dug out their favourite jumpers this weekend? I’m loving feeling all snuggly in mine today!! We have a lovely week ahead on English Wedding with some gorgeous real weddings lined up, a stunning dress feature and expert tips on floral styling for barn weddings… but first, let’s start the week with something truly beautiful. Richard and Claire married at The Italian Villa in Poole last October. Claire looks super cute in her lovely Galina Couture gown which has to be one of the most amazing dresses we’ve ever seen on the blog! WOW!! The wedding is full of smiles and gorgeous styling which I hope you’ll love as much as I do!

Happy Monday lovelies! Just a handful of days to go now until my next calligraphy class in Manchester so it’s a crazy busy week here at English Wedding HQ! Today though, I have the most beautiful celebration to share with you – Lucy & Tim’s gorgeous wedding at 10 Castle Street, an exclusive country house venue in Dorset. Lucy’s Halfpenny London dress is just fabulous, and I love the atmosphere of the day which just comes across wonderfully well in the pics.

I’m trying to get my head around the fact that it’s September already.. is it just me?! I’m excited to share some spine tingly pretty autumn weddings and styling inspiration on the blog throughout the month, as well as teaching my calligraphy workshops next week! I have a feeling September is going to be my favourite this year!!

There’s something about today’s beautiful wedding which captures the essence of the English countryside so perfectly… it’s in beautiful Dorset, with a quaint church (St Marks, in Talbot Village) and a lovely reception with the prettiest details – paper fans on the wall in shades of gold, and adorable little commemorative pins for all the guests!

Camila is absolutely stunning; Victor looks gorgeous. The love these two share is captured perfectly in the images by our friends at Linus Moran Photography, who are based in Dorset, close enough to the Kings Arms Christchurch to be regular photographers there – and who come highly recommended for their beautiful documentary wedding photography as well as their professionalism and friendliness. I wanted to share a really pretty wedding with you all today – something elegant and graceful, with a wonderful sense of English charm and tranquility – and I couldn’t think of a lovelier wedding than Christie and Ben’s day. Christie is so very beautiful – a Devon bride whose timeless style reminds me of Audrey Hepburn – with Ben her perfectly handsome leading man. They married at Symondsbury Tithe Barn and chose lovely Linus Moran Photography to capture their day.
