Gill and Andy’s wedding is like a dream – the perfect beach location; breathtaking spots for those keep-forever photographs and the prettiest of seaside styling touches. They married at Tunnels Beaches in Devon, and chose Evolve Photography to capture their day and the fabulous Pumpkin & Pye for beautiful florals.
Gill’s bridal separates are exquisite –Β she knew sheΒ wanted a skirt and a top rather than a dress. “I tried on about 20 different dresses before I found a store that had a skirt and a top. I knew as soon as I put it on that it was the one!Β The designer was Karen Willis Holmes and the boutique I bought it from was Martin Charles Bridal in Peterborough. I couldn’t recommend Martin highly enough. He is incredibly talented and made my dress fit like a glove.
Devon brides and grooms might already know Hannah Taylor – today’s beautiful bride and fabulously creative wedding stylist. It fascinates me to see wedding industry insiders’ weddings – and Hannah really pulled out all the stops to make her wedding to Michael stand out from the crowd. It’s deliciously alternative, breathtakingly beautiful and such a fabulous example of a truly individual day. Hannah and Michael are both gorgeous – this really is a treat and I hope you’ll LOVE their wedding photos as much as I do!
I LOVE this wedding!! Itβs wintry but not too Christmassy (which means I can happily publish it in spring!) and theΒ bride and groom are gorgeous. I especially love Tomβs tweed suit and cap – and Katherineβs hair is sooooo beautiful. The little mice holding flowers are the icing on the cakeβ¦ just wonderful.
Our wedding flowers byΒ Hollyhocks Florist were beautful dark purple Calla Lilies, amnesia roses and gyp – looked amazing!Β It was Christmas so we had beautiful decorations for free! A floor to ceiling high Christmas tree, and miniature ones in the windows. We went for hessian bows on all the chairs. Our invitations, order of service and confetti wereΒ all homemade. They took a long time, but they wereΒ cheap and added some extra love to the day!
Katherine and Calum’s wedding is such a beautiful one – this lovely couple were married in a cosy candlelit barn, served up comfort food and mulled drinks and used soft whites and styling touches for their winter wedding. The wonderful images are by Devon wedding photographer Lee Maxwell.
“My flowers were an informal posy of soft, blossomy white flowers (with touches of navy from some anemones). The bridesmaids had relaxed bunches of gypsophila. The florist was Earth Gallery Flowers, who were incredibly helpful in providing some initial advice as to what would work best and what was readily available in winter.
I LOVE this wedding – Amy and Dan hadΒ the best homemade table plan Iβve ever seen! I adore the idea of a spot ofΒ wild swimming (crazy!) and all the flowers, personal touches with stationeryβ¦ and Amyβs dress is just wonderful. This is beautiful, country charm at its very best and I hope you fall in love with their day as much as I have!
The ideas here will inspire creative brides and grooms – and the beautiful images will make your eyes ever so happy. Amy is a breathtaking bride, Dan her perfect match. Their day is one which speaks to my heart with personal touches, individuality and romance.
