Hey lovelies! I have something special for all of you crafty brides and grooms – I’ve launched a nice chunky handful of NEW modern calligraphy workshops for 2019, and one of them will be ESPECIALLY for wedding calligraphy. This is the first workshop of its kind in the UK (or anywhere, as far as I know!) and will focus on helping you create beautifully lettered items for your wedding.
If you’re tying the knot in 2019, have crafty tendencies and love lettering, then this is going to be the perfect workshop for you! Why not bring along your bridesmaids, or your mum or your other half – and I’ll introduce you to beautiful modern calligraphy so you can design gorgeous goodies for your wedding day!
Hey lovelies! I would LOVE to know if you’d be interested in a wedding calligraphy workshop in 2019 – aimed at absolute beginners, and where I can teach you to design your own wedding invites and monograms for stamps, stickers and branding your wedding! I’ll be booking dates in the next week, so please add a little comment here if you’d be interested in coming along! I’d love to see you there.
I have a little news for you as well, especially crafty brides and grooms who would love to learn calligraphy before the end of 2018. I’ve a few lettering workshops with tickets left, and I’ll be thrilled if you can join me!
I paid no attention to the royal wedding earlier this year, I have to admit… but since the big day it’s come to my attention that Harry and Meghan’s cake was different, modern, creative and absolutely delicious-sounding… Lemon & Elderflower. And credit where it’s due – I love that their wedding cake was non-traditional (ie not a fruit cake!) If this sounds good and you’d like to follow in the royal couple’s footsteps with a lemon & elderflower infused wedding cake, you’ll love this recipe sent in by the lovely folks at Dr. Oetker and celebrity baker Juliet Sear!

So you’ve planned your colour palette, your centrepieces, your napkins and chair decorations for the wedding reception. There’s a sign at the entrance and a table plan so guests can find their places… the one thing missing is your place name cards. You really want to give your guests something personal, but you’re at the end of your wedding budget and you just can’t afford to splash out any more! – I have the solution.
Every 6 weeks or so I go on a little road trip with my pens and inks, and spend a couple of hours with lovely brides-to-be and their best girls. My calligraphy workshops get me away from my desk and into the real world – and they’ve become the absolute highlight of my year! Last year I made gift vouchers for Christmas – this year I’ve had them gorgeously copper foiled and they’re the prettiest little things 🙂
