Hey everyone! I hope you’re all staying safe and warm through this ridiculously cold spell! We have no snow here on the Cumbrian coast – in fact it’s been lovely and sunny since Friday – but omg is it cold on the beach! So I’m staying in, snuggling into my slippers and hot chocolate and happy to be sharing some extra special blog features with you all in the run up to Christmas. Today’s is no exception… did you see our list of 15 favourite UK wedding planners published yesterday? If you did, you’ll have spotted our lovely friend Helen from Pudding Bridge. Helen’s not only a multi-award winning planner, she’s also written some advice features for the blog over the last few months and we’re thrilled to have her joining our little team of sponsors today.

Today’s wedding at King’s Weston House is absolutely gorgeous! The little touches Hollie and Jimmy used to decorate tables and entertain guests are just fabulous – and the bride and groom are a stunning couple – Hollie is so very beautiful. Images are by our lovely sponsor and Bristol wedding photographer Martin Dabek. There’s more than one reason we’re supporting the Chosen Wedding Fairs this year – of course our very own Facebook page editor Claire has taken over the running of the fair, and this has given us the wonderful opportunity to shout about it from the rooftops… but there are so many fabulously creative suppliers involved whose work we’ve featured on the English Wedding Blog before, this is pretty much our dream wedding fair!

Styled shoots – which we’ll always love to bits – are the reason so many of these guys have featured on our pages. If their name is in bold on the list below, they’ve starred on the blog, we know them by reputation and LOVE what they do!

Here’s something wonderful for all of you autumn brides and grooms – a wedding full of warm styling touches and golden sunshine. I adore the portraits of the happy couple under the turning leaves; Hannah is so beautiful and radiant in the most delicate lace detailed wedding dress, and the candles and cake table are just perfect for the season. (Three wedding cakes – chocolate brownie, cheese and pork pie!!! Love this!)

Alex & Laura’s wedding is in the most amazing ‘venue’ – if we can describe a 19th century transatlantic steamship as a wedding venue! I love their creativity in choosing a space which really sets the scene for a memorable and adventurous wedding day. This is all so gorgeous: Laura is stunning in a shorter length dress and the nighttime photos taken after their reception are wonderfully unique and exciting!
