It’s more than wonderful to see a gorgeous bridal bouquet given the attention it deserves – and Dorset photographer Robin Goodlad captures this beauty like a pro! Beautiful Martine and Nick’s wedding day is full of visual treats, glamorous styling and thoughtful details – Martine is stunning and Nick looks gorgeous – but these two little faces almost steal the show… aren’t they ADORABLE?!!

Last month it was announced that the laws governing where folks get married in England and Wales might change – and it’s about time, we think! We dream of windswept elopements on sea cliffs, of secret woodland glades for our tipis and festoon-lit wedding celebrations… and of creating and speaking our own vows which don’t include legal jargon or a single religion if we don’t want them to! We’ll be watching the development of that little story carefully here at English Wedding HQ.

Happy Friday everyone! Before I share today’s wedding I have a special offer for anyone who can make it to Manchester next Friday (7th December) – there are a handful of places left at my modern calligraphy workshop and you can SAVE 10% if you book your places today! It’s a festive calligraphy class so lots of fun… it’s for absolute beginners and BRILLIANT for anyone with wedding place names to write or invites to send in 2019! Book your places in my Etsy shop if you’d like to come along!

Hey lovelies! I hope you’re staying safe and cosy in this blustery weather! Today’s wedding is the perfect distraction from the wind and rain – Mimi and Jacob married on the 5th of January and incorporated so many cool ideas into their totally gorgeous and unique DIY wedding. The boys are all rocking a tux and dickie bow (and loving the James Bond look!); Mimi is absolutely stunning in a beautiful lace dress and veil. The details though… and the care and creativity these guys put into making their wedding a true reflection of their personalities is amazing!

Planning the entertainment for your wedding can be stressful at any time, but a Christmas wedding? How do you strike the right balance? Do you go fully Jingle Bells, or ignore the festive feeling and stick to the songs and sounds that matter to you? The thing is, with those blazing log fires, mistletoe, and frosty weather – all the better for snuggling close – winter is an incredibly romantic time of year. So, whatever theme you choose for your wedding, it has the potential to be magical. Your wedding entertainment is that little sprinkling of fairy dust on top, that makes the whole thing sparkle.
