It takes a pretty special wedding photographer to capture atmosphere in their images. You know the feeling of pure joy from a wedding day, or the way a groom’s expression changes from nervous anticipation, to total loved-up overwhelm
and then purest happiness as he walks from the ceremony, his bride on his arm? I see it every day, and it’s one of my favourite things – and the way Kent wedding photographer Michelle Cordner
captures emotion in her images really is beautiful
“Hi, I’m Michelle, a Kent based wedding photographer who covers all of the South East UK and beyond! My photography style is very natural, with a documentary feel to most of my images, but I’ve added a hint of alternative and fine art imagery to add a bit of sparkle!!
My aim as a wedding photographer is to capture the day as it unfolds – with as little cheesy posing as possible! My favourite images are always the ones where no one noticed me! Quite often in my couple shoots I get the bride and groom talking together and they say they almost forgot I was there – which is exactly what I strive to achieve!
Wedding photographs are so immensely important, and while I’m always happy to get the family shots with the people who have all travelled (sometimes very far) to be part of your day, it will be the ones of people laughing, crying, cuddling and smiling that I think you will cherish most in your gallery – hopefully for generations to come!
