We spend an average of eighteen months planning a wedding – and the day itself is over in the blink of an eye. Imagine if you could spend just a little more time in your dress; have a few tranquil moments to enjoy being a bride again, after your wedding day.
Beautiful bride Faye spent a little time with one of the loveliest photographers I know – Kathryn Hopkins – doing just that. They went along to Great Ashfield House for a post-bridal shoot and captured a romantic set of images, taking time to make more memories for Faye of her bridal style and dress.
“Weddings are so fast paced with little time to dedicate to one element during the day, so it is really lovely to be able to spend a couple of hours just documenting the bride’s style and dress after the wedding day. I definitely recommend any bride treating themselves to a day of pampering on set and enjoying their dress again before it gets packed away forever.” ~ Kathryn Hopkins
Everything about this post-bridal photoshoot is wonderful; blissfully tranquil, artistic, and telling a story of one bride’s youth, beauty and grace. The flowers are divine – hellebores are my absolute favourites through the winter months, and the colours are rich and dramatic. I think a post-bridal photoshoot is the loveliest idea – and a shoot like this could make an inspired and unique wedding gift from a husband, from parents or bridesmaids.
