Choosing which photoshoots to feature on the blog sometimes comes down to something as simple as a smile. Lovely Emily sent me a handful of pics from this shoot, and instantly I knew it would be amazing for the blog – because I was smiling happily back at my screen. And also, flowers. Oh, those flowers!!! It’s perfect… and if you need inspiration for any little bridesmaids, their smiles will prove this is such a fun and unique way of styling princesses of all ages on your wedding day!

“We had a lovely group of girls all dressed in tulle skirts in shades of blues and greys wearing their wellies! It is very much inline with your outdoor, countryside bridal style with a large dose of rustic! It was shot at our florist’s farm in Norfolk where she grew all the flowers for the shoot (and indeed for all her weddings too).
The Spring flowers give a massive injection of colour, making this a really unusual shoot. In my experience as a planner bridesmaids can be a challenge to dress for the bride so this shoot is to give inspiration to those brides looking for something that lets personalities and flowers shine!
Top Tips for Styling your Bridesmaids – coming soon!
“Your bridesmaids don’t need to be dressed identically, they could be in complementary patterns or colours, or ombre shades of your key colour, similarly to how we have styled our bridesmaids in this shoot. Having said that, you need a certain amount of commonality to your maids, otherwise they will just look like wedding guests so an option could be to coordinate their bouquets to create some cohesion to their styling and look. For our shoot we selected brightly coloured spring flowers to create this.
There are so many options to style your bridesmaids in a unique and personal way, and you don’t need to spend a fortune. Let your personality, and those of your best ladies, shine through and have fun!” More bridesmaid styling tips on 23rd April
