Copper and geometric styling ideas – wedding editorial with Amanda Karen Photography
Happy St Patrick’s day everyone! I’m just south of Belfast this morning and looking forward to an amazing day of celebrations with friends – in the meantime though, I have something rather special to share with you today. Softly textured florals and shining, modern metallics… there’s something about today’s editorial from Amanda Karen Photography which works so perfectly I could sing! The way Laura Jayne (Your Wedding Your Way) combines colours and materials is wonderful – don’t you think? This is a theme which would work in a blank canvas marquee, an industrial space or any blank canvas venue – it’s guaranteed to make your wedding unique and different! I’m thrilled to be sharing this gorgeous inspiration with you today – grab a cuppa because there are so many lovely details for you to Pin away to your heart’s content and inspire your own wedding! You might be here a while 🙂
The trick with using metallics in wedding styling is to add softness, typically with flowers and fabrics, which avoids an overly industrial look and creates the charm and romance of a beautiful wedding. The statement floral installation above the top table is a brilliant touch, and means tables can be decorated with simpler florals and elegant candles. The copper masters chairs are a genius touch – simple and effective, especially when you picture your entire venue styled beautifully for your ceremony and wedding breakfast!

The invitation and matching pieces by our lovely friend Emma Jo Stationery are just gorgeous – simple type with a romantic calligraphy font and just a splash of colour to perfect the look and match the styling of the day.
