Today’s beautiful floral shoot was created as an anniversary styled celebration, but I think the styling is just perfect for a wedding too! The flowers by The Wedding Fairy are so soft and colourful – they really do take centre stage. Delicate blue delphiniums, ranunculus and roses sit prettily together on tables with a colour palette of soft blues, ivory and subtle coral tones. Berried eucalyptus adds a silvery note and lovely texture, working hand in hand with dove grey and white candles in the prettiest glass holders.
It’s all captured beautifully by talented photographer Zehra Jagani at Owen House in Cheshire. Place settings are simple and delicate, with organic calligraphy from By Moon & Tide.
Chargers studded with gold, delicate mercury glass and silk napkins all add to the overall look. For me, this is all about pulling different styling elements together: glassware and candles, florals and foliage, place settings – all within a well planned colour palette so the effect is amazing.
Step back a little from the place settings and you’ll see a more rustic and natural look for this shoot: the framework is incredible. Roses and foliage entwined around a wooden canopy, with blousy white hydrangeas and tumbling eucalyptus – it’s stunning. The floral chandelier is the perfect finishing touch, with those hydrangeas taking centre stage, nestled alongside the same beautiful roses, delphiniums and berried eucalyptus.
Gorgeous couple Iqra and Faizan look amazing – he wears a blue suit from Reiss, and Iqra designed her sari herself, teaming it with a pretty Coast blouse in beautiful blush pink. I can’t think of a lovelier way to spend an anniversary!
