Tessa and Robin’s summer picnic wedding, with Amanda Forman Photography

I love this wedding – it’s beautiful, relaxed and so wonderfully summery! I can’t believe it was planned in less than 6 months! Tessa is so beautiful and wears her dress with the prettiest lace jacket for the ceremony, which she takes off for the reception to show off the lovely strapless style of the gown underneath.
The styling and special touches on the day make it even more special: I love the picnic baskets for the main meal – that’s genius for a marquee or picnic / festival inspired wedding! The chalkboard lettering is wonderful, the flowers are divine – and the pot plants adding extra splashes of green are a hint of one of 2018’s foremost wedding trends!

Today’s gorgeous bride and groom were married on the 17th of June in Chidham. The reception was held at Cut Mill, the groom’s grandparents house: it used to be a working mill hundreds of years ago and has been kept in the family ever since. It really is a beautiful location.
The wedding was very much a DIY wedding, being planned in only five and a half months with both sides of the family pulling together to get everything ready in time. Even the food was home made picnic baskets filled with goodies and the cake table was created by several family members and guests.
Don’t miss the swimming at the end of the day…!
