As the bluebells are almost out on the hillsides here in the Lakes, I thought it would be the perfect time to share this gorgeous day with you. Tristan and Kayleigh had a beautiful woodland wedding in springtime, surrounded by bluebells and incorporating them into their theme. The bride and groom are just naturally beautiful – theirs could be my perfect wedding, I think. I just love the flowers, wooden decor and raffia which bring their natural spring wedding look together.
“The whole event was homemade with help from family. Stand out out pices were the bar, cake stand and the arch the ceremony was under. We also created a coloring book from some old photos for the children along with some sweets and disposable cameras.”

Syman had photographed a friend’s wedding, the photos were great. Syman was fantastic on the day, he was climbing trees at one point to get the shot he was after.
We were very happy with the photos. Out of all of them (which was a lot) there isn’t one that we didn’t like.
(Detail & venue images by Polly Coupée Photography)
The venue is Fern & Field, in the Kent countryside. Owner Polly told me Fern & Field only holds one bluebell wedding per year (in May), “to ensure our couples enjoy the flowers at their very best.
“Surrounded by just under 170 acres of farmland and woodland makes this location very special and truly rural. The use of wellington boots on the entire bridal party {Even mother of the bride!} and then the choice of flowers which helped to bring the vibrant bluebell shades from he woodland into the lush green field and marquee. Most of our couples opt for a tipi and so it’s nice to show that a marquee can look very stylish in our rural setting too.”
