Something new to discover… Directory updates and supplier news!

Published by Claire Gould on

Happy Saturday, Beautiful! I had the most wonderful day yesterday at my friends Jess & Neil’s wedding at the fabulous Langley Castle – have you been? What an amazing day – congratulations to you both! xoxo … Today we’re road-tripping it gently back to the Lakes in time for a birthday party… it’s a crazy and brilliant weekend full of old friends and new, and I love it!

If you’re wedding planning, supplier searching or generally looking for inspiration then I have something fab to share with you today. The English Wedding Blog Directory is my quick, simple and gorgeous place to go to find all the best wedding suppliers – and every month I’ll introduce you to all the new folks on there… creatives, designers, and more!

So massive welcomes to all of this lovely lot who’ve joined the Directory in April:

Photography by Kathryn Widdowson - Yorkshire
Sarah Williams Photography Sussex

Kathryn Widdowson is a Yorkshire wedding photographer recommended by some of our favourite venues – but whether you’re marrying in a stately home, a country hotel or amongst the trees in a tepee, Kathryn’s approach to wedding photography is just the same – she says “it’s all about you and capturing the truly memorable and unique day you will have created”. We loved reading Emma and Alex’s glowing review for her on the blog (and seeing their super pretty country wedding!)

Sarah Williams photographs weddings with a reportage style, telling a story with photos and allowing her couples to enjoy their wedding day. She’s based in Sussex and has featured on the English Wedding Blog before – I still adore this pretty summer wedding from Arundel, and oh, the flowers!

Baxter and Ted are a boutique filmmaking company producing bespoke, beautifully crafted films for weddings, love stories, people and places. They’re based in Cornwall, travel worldwide and featured on the English Wedding Blog earlier this month with a stunning coastal wedding inspiration shoot.

Jodi Hanagan is a wedding photographer from Kent who is passionate about her work with a relaxed and natural documentary style. Take a look at her beautiful ‘Through the Looking Glass’ styled shoot (with my calligraphy!) if you love colourful and playful wedding styling.

Sophie Evans is a talented Warwickshire wedding photographer who believes passionately in the stories photographs tell, the memories they evoke and the way they make you feel. I discovered Sophie’s beautiful style when I featured Dave and Lotti’s super pretty summer wedding on the blog in March.

David from Married to my Camera is a Surrey wedding photographer with a wry observational style and an emphasis on capturing real and meaningful connections in his pictures. Check out Ruby and Ed’s Brighton wedding on his blog!

Charlotte Razzell is a Surrey wedding photographer who loves natural photos and will photograph your wedding day as it unfolds so you get the full story of that moment in time, which creates beautiful memories. Have a look at this beautiful barn wedding Charlotte shared with us back in 2015 – the bouquet is lush!

HD Moments are a small team of filmmakers experienced in capturing sound, motion and most importantly emotion – perfectly placed to capture amazing memories of your wedding day. They’re based in West Sussex and travel worldwide. We loved watching Yung’s serenade to his beautiful bride in this Devonshire Terrace London wedding.

Rachel Joyce is a talented documentary style wedding photographer from Lancashire who shoots weddings all over the north west. We’ve been featuring her gorgeous real weddings, shoots and advice on the English Wedding Blog for the last two years – and we’re looking forward to seeing more from her! Maybe you’ll book her, and we’ll publish your wedding!

Siobhan H is a London wedding photographer with a distinctive contemporary and elegant style. We loved Phoebe and Wayne‘s natural and simple village hall wedding on the blog at the beginning of this year – and Siobhan has so many beautiful weddings on her own blog we hope you’ll enjoy scrolling through!

Michelle Cordner is based in Kent and creates simple, beautiful, natural images, capturing the big things as well as the smallest details that make you and your wedding unique. I LOVE her images from the Deer Park Hotel photoshoot on her blog – one of my all time favourites!

There are of course plenty more wedding suppliers on the pages of the Directory, so do take a look and who knows, maybe you’ll discover the photographer / cake designer / calligrapher of your dreams in there!
