Baby, it’s cold outside… but you know, I’m still loving snuggly jumpers and sneaky hot chocolates and evening cuddles… winter has a spirit all of its own and I’m in no hurry to see the end of these chilly, beautiful days. But I’m biased: I’ve been completely and utterly won over by today’s gorgeous winter wedding inspiration. The word wonderland was made for the beauty you’re about to see… a combination of a luxe winter wonderland with a hint of silver, fluffy cotton candy, and geode crystals.

The Deer Park Country House Hotel is a fantastic wedding venue in Devon, with so many pretty locations for photographs in the grounds and inside the main hotel itself. Amber from Liberty Pearl Photography organised the perfect winter photoshoot with some amazing suppliers.
The styling was very elegant, but with a rustic twist which kept the theme feeling very relaxed. The beautiful floral arrangements from Bloom and Flourish were full of rustic greens, wild autumnal foliage and cotton which perfectly complemented the luxe winter theme. The geode cake from Eddible Essence Couture Cake Co was simply one of a kind, and this and the marble macaroons tied in perfectly with the crystals from Phoenix Wings Crystals and crystal themed stationery from Hip Hip Hooray.
The wedding suite in the main house is filled with soft natural light and luxury furnishings – perfect for taking getting ready photographs. It was also an opportunity to photograph some of the amazing details, including the elegant bridal shoes from Emmy London and accessories from The Lucky Sixpence – Vintage Headbands, Combs and Jewellery. The silver sequin dress from Phase Eight added lots of sparkle and texture and is and a stunning choice for brides looking for an alternative winter wedding dress.
The Prop Factory supplied some fun “Me & You” light lettering which provided a lovely bright backdrop. I loved the wedding dress from Ellis Bridals and the dancing really emphasised the simple flow and elegance of this very traditional dress.
