Beautiful burgundy and berry reds for a vibrant and warming winter wedding style

Winter weddings can be delicately frosty, with palest pastels and sparkle. Or you can bring warmth to your wedding style with vibrant, rich florals and a bold colour palette. Either way, opting for an alternative twist to the style of your wedding is a winner!!

London based styling company Vintage Party Arrangements aims to reinterpret tradition in new and exciting ways and founder Dani believes that event design should provide a dynamic cultural experience for everyone to enjoy.

“The shoot was organised by Ana Gely A – Photography  and features a winter wedding that is far from the ordinary. “For styling inspiration we tapped into the unique features of the venue where we did the shoot. The Great Barn at Headstone Manor & Museum is a two part estate featuring a manor house museum currently under restoration and a beautiful barn which is used for weddings. The place is steep in history and local traditions. It has recently been reopened to the public and we were lucky to be the first to ever do a photo shoot there.

Couples often want to include ideas that are personal to them but can find it challenging to reconcile different  styles as they may not be sure how to make them work together. We wanted to show that it’s perfectly OK to mix themes as long as they are meaningful to the people getting married… and as long as there is a method in the “madness” (?my favourite part!)

Burgundy & Beams is a notion that started with Ana’s idea to use a palette of beautiful burgundy and berry reds that would be off set by the crisp light of winter.

The style:

We merged English country manor with rustic charm to create a unique rustic luxe blend that refers to the venue’s heritage and offers creative approach to styling a barn as well as a different take on styling a ceremony and bar areas.

Part of the shoot is outdoors and part is indoors to make the most of both worlds. We worked with a very talented team of suppliers who offer bespoke services so you’ll see a lot of attention to detail and heaps of inspiration to inspire your own wedding day!
