This is wedding inspiration at its prettiest – a gorgeous wintry inspiration shoot combining an exquisite contoured dress and a modern twist on the iconic beehive. The beautiful bouquet and buttonhole – by Charlotte from Moutan Flowers – is both textural and delicate. The bouquet continued gorgeous globe thistles, pretty pink cool water roses, the rich black dahlia, and snow berries for an added delicate pink and cream colouring.

Creating an editorial shoot for Wasing Park has been something I have wanted to do for a while, its gorgeous grounds, and diverse wedding buildings enable you to create something truly unique. My favourite space has to be the summerhouse: its charming mural of pale blue, almost oriental in style, creates the most perfect backdrop to a wedding.
The main element dictating the styling was the incredible dress. I had already fallen in love with her at Hannah Elizabeth Bridal, so this was the starting point for me. Hannah has the most impeccable taste when it comes to the gowns she chooses to stock at her extraordinary boutique, however there is sometimes a post on her impeccable Instagram page, that simply takes my breath away. Watters Wtoo did just that with Lenora, which Hannah and I spied together at the White Gallery this year – when this glorious and very flattering dress took us both by surprise during the buying show in London.
Lenora has very thoughtfully placed trim and cutouts, creating the most flattering contour, and with the open back adding a modern twist this really is a dress for a stylish, confident bride looking to wow on her wedding day.
We added touch of feminine, with on trend styling with the flowers, a long veil and gorgeous feather jacket (which I love), ensuring everything remained floral yet polished and very chic.
“Michelle is one of the most fantastic hair stylists I have had the pleasure of working with”, Tasha says, “She is an absolute perfectionist and the work she put into the immaculate up do, during the morning of the shoot created a sensational look for Karen our model, and something we hope will inspire brides to give the style a go”.
Working with Amy on the day of the shoot was absolutely brilliant fun. We decided keeping the makeup natural yet flawless, and giving Karen amazing eyes with lashes and winged eyeliner, paired with a dusky pink lip would again create a chic and elegant look. Everything came together perfectly.
