Genna and Sean’s wedding is so, so beautiful! The venue was covered in flowers, fairy lights and hanging lanterns (all handmade with love), with special touches created on site, made lovingly by friends and family. The venue itself has scenery which surrounded the Ceremony and Reception, making it extra special!
“Words can’t describe how happy we are that we chose Evolve Photography to capture the special moments on our Wedding day! Mark was absolutely fantastic, and clearly extremely passionate, as well as very talented at what he does. This made the day, and photos extremely enjoyable, and meant that we were able to just relax and enjoy our day. Mark was also able to capture the essence of both of us, and our bridal party and groomsmen – allowing the fun that we were having to show through in our photos, which was fantastic! Our photos turned out better than we could imagined, and we would highly recommend Evolve Photography to anyone who can snap him up!
Do take some time to find out more about Evolve Photography here:
All wedding crafty items were made by hand with love, as well as the flowers, and some of our own special food recipes (even our own home made cider)! We collected antique handkerchiefs from all over the world, which hung on a special heart by the ceremony, we had handmade silk hearts hung in an old apple tree, handmade ceremony signs and more… [see the list in the English Wedding Blog interview after the photos!]

Wedding photographer’s website:
How did you choose your photographer?
We loved his passion and philosophy around capturing photos on such a special day! After speaking with Mark, I was able to quickly see that he absolutely loves what he does, and this translates to simply beautiful photos. We felt completely comfortable that Mark would capture what we wanted on our Wedding day!
Tell us about the moment you saw your wedding photos for the first time?
Mark initially upload 3 photos as a preview to his Facebook site, and the moment we saw them we were over the moon! We immediately showed them to all the family, and showed them off as much as we could! Even this small snippet was more than we hoped for, and Mark had managed to capture what we wanted in even just 3 photos! We were/and are incredibly happy to say the least! We then excitedly awaited the full preview the next day, which included all my friends and family checking constantly all night in excitement!
Our Wedding venue was on my family’s property in Bovey Tracey, where we were surrounded by breathtaking views, greenery, flowers, and all the people we love most in the world! This was a very special venue as it is was created and built by my Grandparents, and my Mum went on to be raised there, as well as me spending my childhood growing up there. Even my parents got married in the exact same spot over 30 years ago!
We both wanted something unique and special to us, and this property really held everything we wanted!

Tell us about your accessories: jewellery, shoes and anything else!
The bride kept her jewellery very simple, to compliment the dress and wavy, summery hair! The shoes were Jimmy Choos – one of the brides favourite pieces, which gave that extra bit of glamour to her look!
The bride luckily had her own sister who happens to be a stylist, who helped to source accessories and style on the day! – https://www.instagram.com/thespursuit/
And what did the groom wear?
The Groom kept his look casual and relaxed, his colour palette was grey and light brown – and most importantly his signature bow tie!
Beautiful bridesmaids: what did your best girls wear?
My best girls wore blush dresses (inline with the colour scheme of the Wedding), that individually complimented each girls body shape and personality!
Hair and make-up – did you DIY or hire a professional?
Again, hair and make up was done with love by my Maid of Honour (and sister)!
As a personal stylist, she knew what look I was aiming to achieve, and did my hair and makeup perfectly! With regards to hair we aimed for a glamorous but relaxed look. For makeup we incorporated the colour scheme, by using subtle hints of blush shimmery shades.
