I am a wedding photographer based in Dorset. A few months ago I gathered together all of the best wedding suppliers I know to create a wedding inspiration shoot. Many of the suppliers involved were already friends of ours and the others have now become new friends 🙂 The venue was easy to choose as it’s actually the venue for my own wedding which was at the end of May!
So after concocting a Pinterest mood board for the shoot, months of bouncing ideas back and forth over Facebook, dress fittings and meet-ups over tea, we created our “Botanical Luxe” styled shoot! We were keen to have a rural, rustic backdrop but to create a modern fresh look.
The “Botanical Luxe” theme included a colour scheme of green, white and gold. We had one bridal model with three different dresses and looks, including dresses by Naomi Neoh, Jesus Peiro and Halfpenny London. We also had a flower girl in a grey tutu and floral hoop ‘bouquet’, as well as three different hair looks one included a beautiful flower crown. Two local horses in the field behind the venue were also keen to get involved!
As well as this we had a mock table set up including a hanging floral display, gold detailed crockery, cutlery and glassware, botanical watercolour style stationery and a cake table/display including a watercolour cake, gold luxe cake pops and biscuits with a botanical iced design.
I hope you love this as much as I do! Huge thanks to Sophie Bowdler Photography for sharing such loveliness with us today – you can discover her here:
