Today’s wedding style inspiration is dreamily beautiful, at one with nature and delicately feminine. The details are divine: stormy aubergine tulips bend gracefully across elegant calligraphy place settings. Pretty bridal gowns contrast with a vibrant lip colour; the sweetest of pink roses nestle amongst escaping foliage and darker hues – together they create an amazing wedding look.

The Lady At The Lake was an extra special styled shoot for me, because it sought to encompass a theme that is very close to my heart.
Working with a select group of talented female wedding vendors, including some, like myself, who are relatively new to the industry, we sought to inspire brides with a fine art fusion of femininity and strength.
Contrasting the softness of a 1950s chiffon dress and a silk Malene Birger gown, with bold makeup and simple, undone hair, we wanted to show brides that it is possible to look pretty and feminine, while also retaining a sense of their own identity and fierceness!
This theme was also interpreted through the stunning florals, which included soft blush roses with deep burgundy tulips. Elegant hand-lettering reflected the colour palette and brought a refreshing boldness to a traditionally soft art form.
The wonderfully light images are by Jessica Davies, a fine art wedding photographer from Berkshire. The bold and vibrant styling combines flowers by the Wessex Flower Company, dresses by Malene Birger and from Hitched in Vintage, and beautiful calligraphy by Lauren at www.ohwondercalligraphy.com. Tables are styled with props from Ambience Venue Styling in Berkshire.
