It’s really important to me to feature REAL weddings on the English Wedding Blog. For me, that means not importing the most lavish or unusual weddings from overseas photographers, but sharing UK weddings from my photographer friends. And Anna and Dale’s wedding strikes me as one which is elegant, timeless and uniquely English in flavour. They’re gorgeous; their day is simply styled and looks lovely, and I love their images too!

The weather was perfect – sunny skies and a warm summer day for people to enjoy the grounds all day long and well into the evening celebrations.

This wedding was just perfect! Everything had been planned so carefully and worked so well on the day. The couple are lovely, their colour scheme was elegant – navy, silver and ivory flowers, their venue was idyllic (I love working here).
Anna is beautiful and her choice of dress was exactly what I’d imagined her in too.
Kersey Mill is a fabulous venue. It’s in the middle of Suffolk countryside so is really beautiful – and the venue has some unusual features that make it a really unique venue.
The ceremony setting is an old building and has an old kiln room attached with a grand iron chandelier. It’s something that’s special to the venue and is a must have backdrop for portraits.
The site has an old mill which is privately owned, and only the couple can visit it during their wedding. It’s a great opportunity for portraits that not many couples will have, and also gives the couple a bit of privacy in a gorgeous garden.
The entrance is via a long drive over a little bridge and this also makes for a stunning backdrop to photographs. The staff here are really helpful and the food is delicious which makes it a favourite of mine too.
“Thankyou for capturing all the special moments of our wedding day. We are so pleased with all the photos and now have the difficult decision of which ones to make into our album!” ~ Anna & Dale
