Something to brighten your day, my lovely wedding blog friends… beautiful summer wildflower bouquets and the most adorable troupe of flower girls you’re ever likely to see. Sam and Anna’s wonderful Yorkshire wedding will go down as one of my favourites of all time. Their day is full of fun and laughter, love and happiness, and every image tells a story of its very own. Some have made me grin, others give a warm glow…

Anna is an incredibly beautiful bride. Her smile is infectious: with Sam at her side they make a gorgeous couple. I love the portraits Ian captured of them both around Hazlewood Castle: it’s a venue with knockout looks and some amazing photographic locations. It’s also steeped in a history of kings, knights and historical tales – and I love the romance of adding your own story to the centuries gone before at such a fascinating venue.
Everything I’m about to show you is beautiful, from the dress to the bouquets to the venue and little details – but it’s the gang of flowergirls who almost steal the show… from the morning preparations through to the evening dancefloor, they don’t miss a moment and they are so, so cute! Grown up bridesmaids are all very well, but for fun and giggles and tales to tell, the little ones are so much better! Watch out for them as you scroll through the wedding blog this morning 🙂
