Happy new week everyone! Let’s begin with something beautiful today… a deliciously pretty pastel themed wedding in Lancashire – and the most adorable little family at the centre of it all. Gill and Ash were married at Beeston Manor and their wedding is all about love and family – and all the more beautiful for it.
The details are divine; the bride and groom sooo gorgeous, and their little boy is absolutely adorable. Every moment, every detail of the day is captured beautifully by Lancashire wedding photographer Arusha’s Images Photography, who Gill and Ash highly recommend! “Arusha is such a wonderful photographer, she photographed our day perfectly, our wedding photos are just so gorgeous and romantic, and are the perfect reminder of our wonderful wedding day, thank you.”

Words by Arusha:
Gill and Ash are such a lovely couple, there was some time in between them organising their wedding and the actual day, so much in fact that they moved and renovated a house, had an absolutely adorable baby boy, and planned all their wedding day! Bearing this in mind, it was a real family day.
I loved photographing Gill and her bridesmaids through the day, you could tell how close they all were, and it was wonderful to get some beautiful images of them all together. We also had a lot of fun with the groom and groomsmen!
I loved all the attention to detail at the wedding, it was full of feminine pastel details, and Gill had put a lot of thought into all the little extras. I particularly loved Gill’s lace wedding dress, she had the wedding dress of her dreams custom made and it looked seriously stunning with her cathedral length veil, which was her something borrowed.
I always love photographing at Beeston Manor, it has such a lovely relaxed and family-centred feel to it. There is always lots of gorgeous light inside with their fabulous large windows overlooking the farm beyond. The grounds are so gorgeous too, and although this was a very windy wedding day, we were still able to make use of the terrace, garden and fields outside Beeston Manor for photography of the bride and groom and their guests.

Beeston Manor has its own stories to tell – and for me that makes it pretty special. According to local legend Beeston Wood has been the meeting place for generations of lovers over the centuries, while the manor itself was lovingly restored and converted from its origins as a barn to the fabulous wedding space it is today. The 16th century barn has original oak beams and local sandstone walls, with original features from Preston’s grand buildings of the past alongside locally felled trees as the roof beams… truly, a labour of love.
