Suki and Patrick’s wedding is a blast of colour to brighten all of our days: their fabulous sunflowers, vibrant pink and purple hydrangeas and exciting summer florals are so perfect! They take me right back to those long summer days and warm evenings where the sunset lasts forever…
Images are by North West wedding photographer Chelsea Shoesmith, who told us a little about today’s gorgeous wedding:
“The day was fabulous from start to finish. Patrick and Suki booked me via email as they live in Vietnam and so it wasn’t until they arrived in England that I got to meet them and hear about all of their great plans. The venue was dripping in beautiful floral arrangements by Verdure. They did a fantastic job and I love how vibrant everywhere looked. Every guest was wowed!”
“Patrick & Suki chose to get married at Heaton House Farm in Cheshire, a beautiful venue set in the rolling countryside. The views are breathtaking and stretch across three counties. I found this venue a perfect setting for a wedding and I loved shooting there. Patrick & Suki wanted an emphasis on couple shots and so I loved how versatile the venue and surrounding area was. We managed some to get some gorgeous shots from long grass fields through to the stunning water gardens and later on we were very lucky to witness a beautiful sunset!”

Were you pleased with your wedding photographer? Do tell… we love a brilliant review!
My husband and I found Chelsea through the venue’s webpages and when we looked at her portfolio we instantly knew that we wanted to book her to shoot our special day. Chelsea was excellent at keeping in contact with us as we were planning our wedding from abroad. I particularly liked the fact that she made the effort to meet us in person well in advance before the big day to clarify what we wanted but also to get to know our plans for the occasion. We both felt very confident with our choice after this meeting and this was reaffirmed as soon as Chelsea arrived on the day. There were moments when she was even running around trying to help me get myself together at times which, as a very nervous and excited bride who decided not to have a bridesmaid was so useful and I will never forget Chelsea’s generosity. She was able to take all the wonderful shots without taking us away from out family and guests which was great. As you can see, the photographs are spectacular and really tell a story of our experiences throughout the wedding day.
Tell us about the moment you saw your wedding photos for the first time?
I cried because the photos brought back the emotions from the day and really told a story, our love story.
