Today’s couple are so gorgeous and lovely I could burst with excitement to show you their wedding! Liza and Matt had the prettiest day at Redhouse Barn in Worcestershire – a fabulously light and airy barn with scope for a personal touch which I love! And oh, my goodness did they glam the place up with some super luxe floral arrangements…
Proof, if ever anyone needed any, that barn weddings don’t have to be rustic… today’s wedding is super sophisticated, traditional and full of glamorous detailing: there isn’t a scrap of hessian to be found!

This is a super classy wedding with elegant touches and traditional styling. How did you choose your photographer?

We were over the moon with Tom. He made everyone feel comfortable and has a great sense of humour. One of our best wedding decisions.
Tell us about the moment you saw your wedding photos for the first time?
We were thrilled as they were just what we wanted.

What’s your top tip for saving money?
We did not have any cars to take us to the wedding only 1 to leave in. Also we had a late wedding so no extra entertainment was needed.

Paper jewels did all of our stationery.
Did you fall in love with your wedding dress?
It was a on/off love affair.

Kept jewellery simple as my dress was high necked so just earrings. Shoes and clutch were Jimmy Choo of course.

Beautiful bridesmaids: what did your best girls wear?
Bridesmaids all wore spa blue Dessy dresses but each one in a different style they picked themselves,as they were all different sizes and ages.
Hair and make-up – did you DIY or hire a professional?

Make up by Look By Danielle Guiden.Both ladies were a godsend on the day and Faye even stayed until I was dressed. Both very professional and very friendly. Would recommend them to anybody.
Describe your wedding flowers. Who arranged them for you?
My flowers were amazing. The talk of the wedding. Pale pink peonies, roses and hydrangeas. The florist was Alison from Lilfloral art, Alison was amazing from start to finish and stayed hours on the day making sure everything was perfect.
General styling – did your venue need much decoration?
No the venue already had beautiful lighting so apart from some light up initials that we hired from Penny Lane Vintage hire and some candles for down the aisle which were supplied from Lilifloral art we were set.
Crafts and makes – tell us about any homemade elements of your wedding… did you enjoy them?
I ordered charity pins as favours so they were pretty simple to do and a lot was ordered off etsy or notonthehighsteet.com so again easy to do just time consuming.
The wedding cake: what kind of cake did you choose and why?
I let Matt choose the cake as that was probably more his thing. He pick a naked cake with fruit all over it. It looked gorgeous and tasted amazing. Every piece got eaten.We had the cake made by Pam at The Red Cake Company.
Entertainment: any musical recommendations, surprises or treats?
During the ceremony and drinks reception we had Alison Eve the harpist play.
On the day tips and advice:
If you hire the best then you will get the best. Enjoy the day and keep your wedding small, only invite people you love.
What’s the best thing about being married?
Knowing you have each other forever.
