Who says you have to hire a venue for your wedding? If you have space at home for an intimate wedding, do it your way. Whatever space you find – a farmer’s field for your teepee or a village hall with a sports field you can play on – don’t be scared to be creative with today’s prettily rustic styling ideas based around a chic back garden village wedding.
Lovely Rachel from Exquisitely You got in touch to show me her ideas for a simple back garden wedding style. The shoot is sweet and adorable and has some lovely statement pieces: the chandelier from Linen and Lace is wonderful while Clair Lythgoe‘s flowers are just breathtaking… and the little daisies in our bride’s hair are the prettiest things I’ve seen… LOVE these!
Rachel told me, “My love of the Dorset countryside and English villages in general meant I was destined to use this as a theme for a photoshoot. I already knew I wanted to work with Linen and Lace again and when they told me about their stunning crystal chandelier the theme was set. It just had to be a chic back garden village wedding, and my Grandmother had the perfect back garden to use! I was thrilled to work with Charlotte Bryer-Ash again and the many other talented suppliers.”

The bride looks like Taylor Swift. 🙂 Anyway, I agree with you. Why bother renting a wedding venue in Hong Kong if you have a spacious backyard? Well, maybe in the wedding decoration, you can call wedding production house in Hong Kong like One Heart Wedding Planner to assist you. But if it’s about picking the venue, any venue will do, as long as you can set tables in there for your guests. But, I think, the design is still plain. It is ok to mix yellow and green for rustic themes.
