Salford is one of my old stomping grounds… back in the day before they polished it all up and moved the BBC in, I went to college there – so it’s lovely to see Sarah and Chris’s real wedding from a place I have fond memories of. Manchester brides and grooms should pay close attention to the lovely film from Jo Gendle Films… it’s a sparkly, glam wedding from one of your best contemporary venues – you’ll love it!
Chris and Sarah’s wedding is lovely: romantic and classic, with a touch of vintage in the gysophila and white hyacinth bouquets. They’re a sweet couple and had this to say about their wedding:
“We were married at The Lowry, Salford Quays on Valentine’s Day in the stunning compass room. We chose to keep the decor simple as the room was so striking with its 360 degree floor-to-ceiling windows.
“The colour scheme was black and white with large silver candelabra and tables named after our favourite albums.
“We are absolutely thrilled that Jo was able to capture our day! She was great to work with – professional, unobtrusive and fantastic company. I felt that Jo was always completely on our wavelength and her finished piece of work is exactly what we wanted. She also worked in complete unison with our amazing photographer, Andy Wardle, throughout the day. I would recommend Jo to anyone who would like a totally unique and personal account of their special day, she’s fabulous!”
